There are so many things to do and places to explore in the immediate area. We'll also suggest some mini trips that you can consider taking after the wedding weekend. We'll continue to update this as the wedding approaches!

A one or two night stay in Big Sur can be an amazing continuation of your West Coast trip after the wedding. Some places we recommend camping or renting cabins at are: Fernwood Campground, Pfeiffer Big Sur campground, and Big Sur Campground & Cabins.

Sight-Seeing: San Francisco

Explore Beaches: Davenport Cove aka Shark Fin Beach

Explore Beaches: Davenport Cove aka Shark Fin Beach

Cabrillo Hwy, Davenport, CA

There are several beaches in Davenport (just a 20 minute drive down the mountain and 9 miles north of Santa Cruz), but this is one of our favorites. (aka Shark Fin Cove)

Swimming: Junction Park

Swimming: Junction Park

13264 Middleton Avenue, Boulder Creek, CA 95006
, (831) 338-4144

Popular local spot just a short drive from Waterfall Lodge for cliff jumping and swimming. Santa Cruz's most famous swimming hole is also nearby and called, Garden of Eden (Henry Cowell Redwood State Park). Just know that it is a steep walk down a hill and you'll have to be ok with the possibility of a few nudists!

Hiking: Berry Creek Falls Loop Trail

Hiking: Berry Creek Falls Loop Trail

Boulder Creek, CA 95006

This is suppose to be one of the best hikes in Big Basin Redwoods State Park. It's considered moderate, and it's an 11.2 mile loop. We're going to explore the area this Summer and also recommend a few shorter hikes in the area.

For all the days along the way
