Jacob and Narissa first met in 8th grade at Walnut Grove Middle School after Narissa moved to Midlothian. They were just classmates at the time—crossing paths in hallways, sharing a few conversations, and sitting on the same bus route without knowing much more would come of it. For years, they remained acquaintances who shared brief smiles and simple hellos—familiar, but nothing more. Life carried them in the same direction at times, but never quite together in the way that mattered. Everything changed in the summer of 2020. A year after high school, a simple reconnection led to something neither of them expected. One conversation turned into many, and they quickly found comfort, laughter, and an easy connection with each other. On August 1, 2020, Jacob asked Narissa to be his girlfriend—a question answered with certainty and a full heart. Almost six years later, after countless shared laughs, occasional disagreements over dinner plans, late-night conversations, and a bond that continued to grow with time, Jacob proposed on May 17, 2025. Narissa of course said yes! Stepping into this next chapter together, they begin their marriage—growing, building a family, and facing life side by side as true partners in every sense.
