Honestly who would I be without Miss Vee? She keeps me woke, focused and prioritized. She ensures I am loved, protected and supported every single day. There is no one who cares more about the details than Vee; she carefully curates every experience, conversation, gift, and discipline to the receiver in ways that no one else can. Miss Vee inspires me daily. Perhaps the most consistent source of encouragement Miss Vee unintentionally gave me is that whenever I met her friends / teachers / colleagues - they somehow already knew a lot about me and my accomplishments. She really has been my anchor all my life, there is no one else but Vee.
Evram Dawd

Evram is so good at being an older brother, you can actually rent his services on the side! That is, he treats everyone like they're family: he is easily one of the most giving and thoughtful people on this side of the Mississippi - so much so, he got engaged himself just to help him give me even MORE advice! For awhile, my biggest flex in Jersey was simply having the title as "Evram's brother" (which has now upgraded to Nardine's Fiancé) - his fame has stretched to different states and countries abroad. A best man, for me and so many others, since day 1, he's taught me almost everything I know - From teaching me how to walk to teaching me how to be married, he's #1 every day of the week.

Mariouma has been there every single step of the way. Mariam is the strongest, most loyal, incredibly intelligent and most faithful friend I have. Since the 8th grade, I have always admired Mariam's "can do" attitude, unwavering dedication to her family , her friends and her career, and her ability to always find a way to serve. Mariam has elevated every experience, every prayer, every struggle and every laugh. From Oops to "Andrew my friend", the days of matching converse sneakers, earrings AND belts, to delivering babies and getting promoted - it's truly my honor to have Mariam as my MOH.

DOCTOR "Kreo" Barsoum - from avoiding Abouna Athanasius's scary stares in middle school to failing MATLAB together at Cornell, we've been through it all. He's always been the "DJ Khaled" of the group, always hyping me up to Nardine, probably until she says "I do". Only guy I know that can salsa his way through the night and wake up at 6am to do laundry and study - this man is a machine! New Jersey's own "ambassador", he instantly becomes a lawyer when he defends his home state. Before he was even a doctor, he was writing prescriptions with the gold pieces of advice he's given me & others. One of the most positive and uplifting guys you'll meet - everyone deserves a "Kyro" in their group

IN ALL CAPS: My life was infinitely leveled up when Sara G became a part of it. Every single celebration, prayer, service, sport, struggle, or hardship is that much more enjoyable when she's there. Sara's love is so big that even though she hates hiking with a passion, when I say I want to go hiking for my birthday she's the first one to say "I'm down". She is the most trustworthy, supportive, loving and understanding friend I have. Who else but Sara G?

Abram truly is my second older brother - TBT to being a freshman in college, eating Louie's with Abram, talking about anime and him listening to me whine about Calculus. He's one of the most interesting people you'll meet in your life, and I personally guarantee he'll be your friend in less than 10 minutes. This guy has the ability of making you feel like you're the most important person on Earth - he's just that caring. A traveler, a writer, a "Friends" expert, and one of the best Deacons New Jersey has to offer - simply put, Abram is a once in a lifetime friend.

Olivia & I go way back lol JK but truly Olivia and I have made the most of the beginning of our friendship. The good news is that we find each other to be very funny , we both like thai food and cheese boards and we both love Andrew. We also make for a great team: she loves to photograph and I love to look at pictures, she shoots short films (no seriously!) and I watch them, she's mad skilled at drums and I love to dance. Olivia reminds me that theres always something new to learn and theres always room to self improve,

"Uncle" George - The life of the party. The guy with the biggest smile. The man always with the AUX cord, always playing straight fire. George is the first person you want to see after a long day - his goofy attitude can bring anyone up, without even trying. Give him a few "Balashi's", and this man will school you in everything medical, anything related to Lebron James, and especially politics (#Betapresident forever). One of the most giving people out there, he'll find, one way or another, somehow to go above and beyond for his friends/family. A legend in anyone's book.

There is no one like Nadine. FULL STOP. Nadine does above and beyond all that she is asked and even when she isn't asked. I have always admired and strived to be as generous, thoughtful, creative, service forward and welcoming as her. Even though she didn't invite me ice skating that one time in 2009 #neverforget, she has since been my number 1 fan, the go to for basically everything, always down for a pick-me-up, always taking my very picky taste in shows and my second home.

Hands down, Raphael is one of the most interesting people you'll meet. One mention of "this new band called The Strokes" in middle school Sunday School, and Raph knew then and there that I was legit. Cici's Pizza buffet and getting my butt kicked on Xbox - only the best of friendships are built on such a strong foundation. He even missed me so much, he moved back to Jersey so we can hang out more! One of the most motivated people I know, Raph has been a go-getter since 7th grade, crushing his goals one by one - in a Coptic "30 Under 30", he'd be number 1, by far. Catch him on the dance floor!

I have been annoying Sherry for fashion advice and dresses for weddings since I was 17 years old. Now I know that doesn't seem like a long time but when you do it as often as I do you'd understand the significance. Sherry knows how to get the job done, it shocks me how often Sherry is given a task and then within a day she already has a game plan. Its a testament to her hard work, love and commitment that she has for her people. I know that if theres anyone who will make sure my white dress doesn't get stained, its Sherry fam.

The only things scarier than proposing to someone is asking someone to be your roommate - senior year of HS, Jon did just that. And I said "I do". Eight years later, Jon has become one of my closest friends, and honestly probably knows me the best. A member of the "Long Hall" squad, Jon loves nothing more than to bring all the boys together, pop open a "frew", and talk about life. He was born to be a groomsman - reliable, hilarious, a great time, and a great friend. He's one of the most dedicated friends you'll meet - he'll always put you above himself, any day of the week.

Valerie is my hot, very cool cousin. I mean this woman is more put together than me and I have 6 years over her. Since she was a baby, I have always admired her intelligence, wittiness , love for God and incredible poise. Where would I be without her constant feedback on my potential instagram pictures , humor, support and telling me that I have to want a round ring after sending me many pics of brides with round rings. And did I mention that even though I am the older one, I am always seeking her approval and her advice. She is so dope.

"T-Wade" - he's either dunking a basketball, crunching some data, or learning a new dance - a jack of all trades. A closeted native New Jersey-an, Todd's pride is rooted in something a little more substantial: how many times he can watch the Dark Knight. A world traveler, I can bet he's been to more countries than you've been to states. The most spontaneous of the group, he'll always Facetime you over just sending text - he's always committed to reaching out to friends/family, despite living across the country. The sentence "I'll only go if Todd goes" will always be true - even at the wedding! His laidback and fun attitude is enough for anyone to agree with me. Without Todd, it just wouldn't be the same.

Tuta is truly my favorite person. She can talk to anyone about anything. She is my pen pal ( a tradition she started!), she is beyond her years , she is my tasbeha partner and she is so funny. When I think of Tuta and all of her amazing qualities I genuinely get excited and hopeful for the next generation because she can move mountains. Her personality is almost as big as her heart. She too is so dope.

The "Pack Leader" - Kevin is one of the funniest and most charming people I know; A "chad" in every sense of the word. Before throwing in a couple of self-deprecating jokes, he'll probably be taking his 100th sip of water from his giant bottle while also singing fluent Spanish to Ozuna. The first to always hit up the group, Kevin is always down to get dinner, go out and about, and he'll make it to just about everything you invite him too (always a real one). A nerd in disguise, he'll quote Star Wars Episode 3 like it's his job and probably remembers the names of all his Pokemon. One of the most dependable people I know, Kevin will always come through when you need him.

Mishmish's heart is so big. The first time I went to Egypt in my adult life, Mish did everything for me- my girl even gave up her room for a whole month for me. I learn so much about love, generosity and selflessness from her. On my wedding day I imagine that of all the people, mishmish will be the first one up, the first one to cry, the first one to play a love song, and the first - and last - person on the dance floor. She is literally queen.

Want to know the secret to living a full life? Just hang out with Luke for 10 minutes and you'll find that there is no greater joy. On his good days and his bad days he is the best boy in the whole wide world. He makes everything a joyful occasion. Perhaps you may not understand why we would do crazy things to make him smile, but when you're standing in public and hear your name repeatedly like your attention is the worlds greatest gift then you just might. We can't wait to see Luka running down the aisle head down shouting "nuna", "noon" and "an-du" the whole way through.

Maro is a smart, kind, funny, easy-going, generous man who always walks in the fear of God. Being the only boy cousin on this side of the family, since we were in diapers, Maro has truly learned the meaning of bending over backwards for the ladies. He is always the mastermind of our mazag, he gets up in the middle of the night to make us spicy chicken fingers and he selflessly gives up his time, his friends and his plans to make room for us. It is our honor to have him part of the squad on our wedding day.

David has a lot of roles - "hype man", "Lukes dada" , "Nadine's bf" , "board member" and "he does something in finance" but the one I personally admire is "friend." David is the best of friends. He never says no (except when he needs 5 mins). He's always willing to explain something to you even when it'll take up all of his time and he'll get up in the middle of eating and take a photo for you. He's always ready to listen and give an opinion- even on the small things, if thats what you need. And even though he is always giving , David rarely asks for any help. David is a really reliable, funny, generous, impressive man and we are both so lucky to have him.
Abanoub Wanees

Abanoub is honestly beyond words. When you ask Abanoub for anything, he will send over instructions, links , maps and might even drive over and do it himself. He is so selfless , organized and capable - so much so that he even planned his own bachelor party. He's always the first to offer to get the group something (like food we can't order on seamless), come up with a reason to gather everyone and cook something (like the time he found crab legs on sale so we had a seafood night) and correct us on any coptic hymn (like all the time) lol. We are so blessed to have him and so excited to be neighbors with him and Sara this coming year!
Tony Ibrahim

Tony Ibrahim is a very funny, practical, present, content, and God fearing man with a lot to offer the world even though he says very little. When well napped, Tony can be the ultimate assist to the life of the group ; ready to play cards , embraces change like a champ (like when we play a board game instead of cards), rallies (only when absolutely necessary) and very easy going. His love for comedy, well read knowledge of the Church and rational / engineer way of thinking makes him not only a well rounded friend but also a great asset in life.
