Steven and Naomi met on June 10, 2023 on a blustery day at Ocean Beach at a beach bonfire event in San Francisco. The two barely spoke that afternoon - aside from Steven approaching Naomi and asking her "ramen?" But without knowing it, a spark had begun. From that event grew a circle of friends, and soon one bonfire turned to days and nights of karaoke, hiking, and dinners together. Naomi started to appreciate Steven’s fun, energetic spirit and the ease she felt whenever he was around. Steven was happy to have found such a warm and genuine friend after moving across the country from Boston just a few months prior. It took a Renee Rapp concert for them to both realise that fate had bigger plans for them. From that night on, what started as friendship quickly grew into something more, and Naomi and Steven soon knew that they would share every bowl of ramen from then on.
