We're getting married!

The backstory to how Lucas and Naomi met is a sad one, and one that only their closest friends and family know about. Today, you'll learn just exactly what that story was. In April of 2017, Lucas witnessed a car accident that resulted in two fatalities. He stayed with the passenger of the car while she passed, and then until first responders arrived. The passenger of that car was one of Naomi's closest friends, Rebekah, and the driver was Rebekah's mom, Janel. Both had played a huge role in Naomi's life from when her and Bekah had first met in 2009. It was an extremely hard event to live through for both Lucas and Naomi, but they were eventually put in contact with each other through a mutual friend and they agreed to meet up so Naomi could ask questions about the accident. They met up at the square and discussed the accident until they couldn't anymore, then they talked about everything else. They talked about their childhoods, their best friends, and the fact that Lucas would be moving to Ohio in the near future. After hitting it off so well, they agreed to meet up again the next day and would end up spending all of their free time together until Lucas moved about two months later. They were both heartbroken, but kept in contact the entire time Lucas was in Ohio. Eventually, Lucas decided to move back to Texas so him and Naomi could be together. Ever since, they have been by each other's side through the highs and lows of life and parenting. They are thrilled that you will be joining them on their special day!
