Covid restrictions were starting to loosen around this time, but we were still masking in Vegas...

Jon surprised me with a trip to Vegas for my birthday! Even though we battled the heat (b/c he was too cheap to get Ubers) we had a great time! We were asked on stage to assist David Copperfield in one of his illusions.

With my birthday approaching, Jon searched high and low for a bakery that could make a sugar free cake. The cake was lovely, but the taste... well, let's just say we didn't finish this one!

When I was out of town, Jon went for a walk. He came across some flowers and thought it would be great to cut a few and surprise me with this bouquet.

This is one of the trails near our home. A lovely walk that makes one really appreciate nature.

Time in our theater room became a photo shoot where I asked Jon to "show me happy", "show me sad", "show me afraid", etc. All of which resulted in a bout of laughter.

We spent the morning at a local venue making this lovely jewelry container and soap dish! Next time, we will work on something a bit more sophisticated!
