Our wedding is going to be in Edmonds, which is about 17 miles north of downtown Seattle. Edmonds is a cute town with little shops and amazing waterfront views. If you're looking for a slower pace, it's a great option. If you want to explore Seattle a bit more, and be closer to the center of action, here are our recommendations: Capitol Hill - Directly east of downtown (and up a hill). There's lots of coffee, bars, shops, etc. Queen Ann - Directly north of downtown (and up a hill). Historic homes and amazing views, with lots of food options. Ballard - North of downtown and across the canal. This area is known for having the highest density of breweries in the country. There is also lots of great coffee and an awesome Farmers' Market.
Kindly RSVP by June 21st.
The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Feel free to arrive any time after 4:00pm.
There is a public parking lot at the Edmonds Waterfront Center. If this lot is full, there is another parking lot just south at the Edmonds Fishing Pier, as well as at the Harbor Square Athletic Club. There should also be plenty of street parking.
The ceremony will be outside in a grassy area overlooking the Puget Sound and the ferry terminal. We will then move inside for the reception.
July tends to be dry and warm. Seattle hovers around the 70s and 80s, but it has fluctuated a bit more in recent years. It can also be smoky around this time of year.
Dress in a way that feels comfortable and true to you. Our dress code is dressy casual, but for those traveling in, Seattle tends to lean a bit more relaxed, so feel free to keep it stylish yet easygoing.
Beer and wine will be provided.
There is no smoking or vaping allowed anywhere inside or surrounding the Edmonds Waterfront Center.
