What will the weather be like at Point Lookout Vineyard in September?

Answer

The venue is at 3000 ft. elevation, so it will be cooler there than in Asheville or Hendersonville by about 8 degrees. The average temperatures appear to be in the 70's during this time of year, but they can be as high as the low 80s and as low as the low 50s. We would recommend to check the weather closer to the event to determine what to bring.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, barring weather, will be outdoors overlooking the grape trees and mountains. Cocktail hour will be at the outdoor patio outside of the venue with option to utilize the indoor reception space. The reception will be indoor, but depending on the weather, the venue has retractable windows around the entire space that can be rolled up to let the mountain air flow through or down to keep the venue warm.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Cocktail hour will take place immediately following the ceremony outside of the reception hall for all guests to enjoy light passed hors d'oeuvres, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages.

What should I do if I cannot make the wedding?

We completely understand that the life we are living right now is not the norm and some people may not be able to attend. First, WE WILL MISS YOU! Secondly, if you know earlier on please feel free to call or text us to let us know. If your attendance changes closer to the wedding, we also understand, letting us know via phone or text also works for us. 864-237-1426

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The drive up to the venue includes a lot of small, windy roads. We encourage all guests to utilize the transportation that will be arranged in the Biltmore Park hotel area. We do understand that some guests will want to drive to the venue and there is parking available if you do decide to drive.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please mail in your RSVP with your meal decision prior to August 15th, 2022.

Will the venue be handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! Handicap parking will be available by the venue and the parking area will have transportation up from the parking lot to the venue as well.

What will be the food and beverages provided?

Answer

We will have four light hors d'oeuvre's in the cocktail hour and a seated dinner at the reception. The seated dinner will have a Filet, Chicken Florentine, and Cauliflower Steak option for you to decide and send in with your invitation. Please include any allergies or food intolerances on the "comment" section on your invitation. The cocktail hour and reception will have beer, wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic beverages provided.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Our registry is through Zola and can be found on our wedding website. We have some items through Zola itself and others are connected through Zola to outside websites. We also have contributions for honeymoon, newlywed, and yoga funds. Feel free to contact us if you're having issues using the registry.
