Matron of Honor
Nani's sister and travel buddy! Erin and Nani have gone on two Contiki trips together throughout Europe and Central America. Their many miles of travel together have built their bonds and created memories for a lifetime!
Maid of Honor
Arielle and Nani grew up together from the age of 5 dancing hula in Southern California. And we have traveled the world together! Nani wouldn't be here without her support and excellent last-minute medical knowledge (*cough cough that one time Nani's foot was ran over by a car in Spain and Arielle saved the day with a cold beer and some ice and kind words of encouragement). Arielle is Nani's Swiss-Army knife friend (which is funny because Ari's half Swiss!) Nani couldn't have asked for a better wedding Captain than her!
Bridesmaid
We went to preschool together, but never knew it until we reconnected after high school. She's one of Nani's best friends, her sunscreen coach, her guiding light.
Bridesmaid
What more can we say about our beautiful Brazilian princess: she's the reason why Nani passed statistics in college, she's Nani's anthropologist soul-sister, and the most adventurous camping buddy out there.
Bridesmaid
Noah's one and only sister, the famous Arrenvy! Full of life a laughter, she's an awesome addition to Nani's squad.
Bridesmaid
Ally and Nani both survived simultaneous Covid submarine deployments. Nani couldn't have survived deployment without her! She's her favorite surfing buddy and an amazing friend. Nani will be by Ally's side as well for her wedding to her submarine officer sweetheart in October 2022!
Bridesmaid
Alexandra, Alex, Al (she of many names) is an accomplished and rad lady who has been a great friend to Nani since Al's move to Hawai'i last July. Nani and Al have made amazing memories together in Sedona and Hawai'i, and she looks forward to making many more in the coming years.
Best Man
Mike the "Repair Man" Trovato. He's been fixing Noah's life since he moved to Chesapeake and met the gang in the 7th grade. If you've ever taken a flight anywhere in the Northeast over the past few years, Mike could've been your Pilot! That's right, Mike has been flying planes practically as long as he's been driving cars! Mike's currently living it up in Boston with his wife Sonja. Brandon and Noah were Co-Best Men for their wedding. So to keep the theme going, Mike will share Co-Best Men responsibilities with Brandon!
Best Man
Brandon became one of Noah's first friends after he moved to Chesapeake in the 4th grade! Noah rode his bike over to Brandon's house unannounced and rang the doorbell saying, "What's good, can Brandon come out and play?" a neighborhood kid's tactic unknown to Brandon's parents at the time. Brandon's parents reluctantly let their child play basketball and ride bikes with this strange boy who appeared on the front steps. The rest, well, that will be annotated in Brandon's future Biography after he makes it big as America's next big entrepreneur! Stay tuned for that one folks! Brandon recently got engaged to his college sweetheart Marissa Nasto, we wish them both the best. Brandon will be sharing Co-Best Men responsibilities with Mike.
Groomsman
Chris has been a part of the Saguarbros (the core four friends where the name was coined at Mike's Wedding in Arizona, get it Saguarbros? Like saguaro cacti. HA) ever since Noah can remember. Chris went to VT with Noah where he studied Food Science. Now he works on the Slim Jim secret formulae (No joke, ask him about it). Noah and Chris spent many 5 hour trips together going back and forth to school between semesters, driving around with Chris' snake 'Godzilla' hanging out in the backseat. Good times had by all. Chris is hanging out in Chicago living his best life.
Groomsman
Noah met Donny on the first day of Nuclear Power School. Just as any other first day of class unfolds, these two students sat next to each other and began joking about the harrowing trials that the Navy was about to put them through. After endless examination upon examination, Donny's motivation and positive attitude throughout their schooling helped drag Noah's dwindling spirit across the finish line 6 months later. After that, Donny and Noah became roommates at their next phase of training in Saratoga Springs, NY. Even though both of these young Junior Officers got stationed on different boats on separate Pacific islands, their lives managed to come back together several times through deployments and homeport shifts. Of all of Noah's friends, these two have either lived, visited, or hung out in the most places: Charleston, Saratoga, Connecticut, NYC, Newport, Denver, Guam, and Hawaii. Donny is also likely making the farthest trip for the wedding, coming from BAHRAIN. Maybe Donny and Noah will hang out there some day too.
Groomsman
Noah and Jimmy met briefly and the very end of Nuclear Power Training, and their friendship started to develop at the very beginning of more Submarine JO training in Groton, CT. Jimmy grew up in downtown Manhattan, and he was able to show Noah his stomping ground around NYC on a long weekend. This was the start of a great friendship, but it didn't truly blossom until Noah showed up to his Sub, the USS Hawaii, where his deployment was kicking off just two weeks later! Jimmy was stationed on a different boat in CT, but as Noah lands in Hawaii, Jimmy calls him up and tells him to save a bunk, because he'll be joining the Hawaii for the entire deployment! The two Navy Ensigns started their real submarine journey together. Jimmy is as smart as a whip and he routinely helped Noah study and progress in his qualifications. The two were inseparable (partly because they had nowhere else to go!!), and when the deployment ended, they were both sad to finish their sea tours from opposite ends of the geographic U.S. Going through a submarine deployment creates much stronger bonds than anyone can imagine, and these two are now friends for life.
Groomsman
Joey is undoubtedly one of Noah's most interesting friends. The two actually met each other during high school theatre, and their big debut was being in the barbershop quartet of The Music Man! Noah was Tenor 1, and Joey was Tenor 2. Who knows if these guys can still hit those notes! Joey is many things, he is an Entrepreneur, business owner, filmmaker, writer, and computer programmer. His business is in the Augmented Reality space focusing on education and military training operations. We wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in Forbes magazine one day! Joey is also one of the funniest people Noah's ever met. His jokes are clever, witty, and just downright hilarious. When you hang out with Joey you always end up with a smile on your face. If not for becoming his own CEO, we could see Joey having his own talk show. The new Stephen Colbert or Jimmy Kimmel. Joey is a friend for life, and Noah will always be interested to see what he comes up with next!
