Question
Will transportation be provided for wedding events?
Answer
Friday guests will be expected to get to the Welcome Party on their own. Saturday we will have shuttles leave from The Robey and The Emily Hotels at 4:15 to go to the ceremony, and shuttles will be available for all guests following the ceremony to go to the reception. We will also have shuttles go from the reception to the hotels.

Will parking be available?
Answer
For the weekend: Parking is available at the hotels on a first come first serve basis. Since it's a particularly busy Chicago weekend, we recommend finding a spot for the weekend ahead of time via Spot Hero or another parking app. For the wedding: There is street parking in the area, but unfortunately, spots are not guaranteed. We recommend avoiding driving if possible. Guests will be shuttled from the ceremony to the reception.

What’s the best way to get around the city?
Answer
We love Chicago's public transportation - we didn't know how much we would miss it until we moved to LA! You can purchase a Ventra card which will give you access to the L trains and buses. If you prefer a taxi, the number for Yellow Cab Chicago is (312) 829-4222 It will likely be a busy Chicago summer weekend so prepare for added travel time due to traffic!

Are kids welcome?

Kids are welcome to the Welcome Party on Friday night! Saturday events are for adults only – Please make it a date night! For out-of-town guests, feel free reach out to Tom or Nancy if you'd like to be included in group babysitting options.

Is there a break in between the ceremony and the reception?
Answer
Nope! We will have shuttles to go from the Church to the Reception following the ceremony.

What food options will there be?
Answer
Friday food will be pizza, salads, tacos, sandwiches etc. Saturday we will have a buffet-style dinner with a range of meat and vegetarian entrees and sides.

Is anything happening on Sunday?
Answer
We will likely get a greasy breakfast at Hollywood Grill and migrate over to the Lakefront (weather permitting)! Would love for you all to join us! We will likely plan to meet near the Chevron Sculpture around 1 pm

What else do I need to know about the hotel blocks?
Answer
For the Robey - The discounted rate is available until June 21, 2023. There is a 2-night minimum stay requirement, guests staying 1 night only will not be eligible to receive the group rate. Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 12pm. Individuals with a guaranteed reservation must cancel or modify their reservation at least 7-days prior to scheduled day of arrival to avoid a one-night charge. If a guest does not register for a confirmed reservation, this is considered a no-show and a forfeiture of their booking.
