Shoshone Falls is one of the largest natural waterfalls in the United States surpassing the height of the famous Niagara Falls. Shoshone Falls is located on the Snake River as it carves its way through a deep basalt Canyon on its way to the Columbia River.
Walk along the Snake River Canyon - There is a paved walking path which may be easily accessed from the visitor's center 2015 Nielsen Point Pl.
Centennial park - This is a waterfront park down in the Snake River Canyon. Here you can launch watercraft (including rental kayaks) on the Snake River. May be accessed from Canyon Springs Road. Vehicle parking is available at the park.

The City of Rocks National Reserve is one of southern Idaho’s best backcountry adventures. The 14,407-acre reserve is situated at the south end of the Albion Mountains, and features towering granite pinnacles, fins, and domes. Climbers come from around the world to conquer routes. The Reserve is also known for its hiking, mountain biking and bird watching opportunities.
