Favorite restaurants in the area include any Vietnamese spot on Argyle St, Demera for Ethiopian (Nancy's pick), Thai Pastry, and Hopleaf for meaty sandwiches. Clark Street / Andersonville has all kinds of cute shops as well. The area between Foster and Hollywood Beaches is where we got engaged!
Line up early if you can as seating is first come first serve, but the music is well worth the wait!
Newer area where all the restaurants are. Make reservations at Au Cheval for the burger, or hit up Avec for the bacon wrapped dates.
Bring a sweater or a jacket. Other companies offer this architecture tour as well, but the Foundation has super knowledgeable guides who tell the best dad jokes! Take a stroll along the riverwalk afterward :)
Gotta check out The Bean...and any activities that may be going on in the park.
So so much in here to see! If you have limited time, go up the middle stairs to the Impressionism wing.
Go in past Shake Shack on your left and go up the staircase on your right. You can chill in the hotel lounge on the second floor and have a drink or a snack (get the tacos), or head back to the Game Room. Fancy folks can go upstairs to the bar on the roof.
This small park by Lake Michigan is in Hyde Park, the neighborhood of the UChicago where we met. The Point is where we spent our summer after grad school!
