Groom
I met Nancy my freshmen year of college at (surprise) a party. At the time we were just friends, but as we texted, had lunch together & learned more about each other I realized she was special. When asked if she would go on a date with me, her response was "You're not my type". I wasn't worried, she would come around eventually. Who would of that all it would take would be a box of wine, a meat & cheese platter from Wal-mart, and a night of deep conversation to seal our fate. I love Nancy's affinity for adventure, ambitious dreams, hard working personality & deep care for others. I don't know where I would be without her but I do know my life wouldn't be as bright. On wedding day I am most looking forward to our friends & family coming together to celebrate this joyous occasion.
Bride
I met Cal at a Sigma Chi party with my now maid of honor and best friend Paula. He was not my type, and I actually refused to date him for a year. Finally, I came around to dating a guy like Cal. He’s silly, super intelligent, and so kind-hearted. There’s never a dull moment around Cal and he truly brings out the best of me. I cannot wait to marry him, and find out what this crazy life has in store for us. On wedding day, I am most looking forward to sharing the love Cal & I have for each other around our friends and family. It’s often that Cal and I are so caught up in life and living, we forget to capture it. I’m excited to share that love for life with my family, my soon to be family and our friends.
Father of the Groom
I first met Nancy in 2015 before they even started dating when I helped Cal move in to his apartment on High Street. Nancy stopped by to say hi while she was on her way to work, and at the time, I didn’t realize that I was meeting my future daughter-in-law. What I love about their relationship is that Cal has finally found someone that can put up with his shenanigans and watch over him. Good luck, Nancy! On wedding day I am most excited for everyone getting together to celebrate this wonderful day.
Father of the Bride
I met Cal when visiting Nancy at college. I'd hoped it was a nickname for COW, meaning she'd found a farm boy. WRONG! I remember thinking, Nancy is dating MR. FRATERNITY (and not an AGR, which is the Ag Fraternity). One day I woke up and Cal decided they will get married! This young man drove 6 hours round trip to ask Kim and I permission to ask Nancy to marry him. CLASS ACT!! I am looking forward to seeing Nancy enjoy the greatest day of her life thus far!
Mother of the Groom
I first met Nancy when Cal brought her home to meet us in the fall of 2015. We dined at our local Belgian restaurant, Le Mannequins Pis, where she fell in love with the “frites”. That’s when I knew she was a keeper. Cal & Nancy have a fast & furious, fun-filled relationship. They both love to be on the go together, experiencing new foods, new places and new friendships. Lots of laughter and fun accompanies them wherever they go. I’m most excited to accompany them on their honeymoon to Greece- they need a chaperone!
Mother of the Bride
Not real sure when we first met ole Calder but my first thought was “boy he is a nerdy little guy”. Over time he has really grown into our family and now he is just part of the family. He treats our daughter like a queen and I am sure he will be a wonderful daddy to our grandchildren. I am excited to see the look on Cal’s face when Vern walks down the isle. They are like peas and carrots!!💕💕
Best Man
Hey! I’m Cal’s younger brother by three years. Cal and Nancy were together when I came to WVU, and I’ve had the opportunity to watch their relationship grow and strengthen since then! My favorite memory of the two of them must be the car ride to North Carolina. Before we were out of West Virginia, the three of us were in tears laughing at pretty much anything we could point out or think up. I’m pretty sure by the time we got there it hurt to smile for all of us. On wedding day, I’m most looking forward to the look on Cals face when he sees Nancy coming down that aisle!
Groomsman
I met Cal in middle school. We didn't really become best friends until high school when we were wrestling partners. In fact, Cal, Matt and myself fell into the “Wolf Pack” category of the weight classes, which would go on to become the name of our friend group. I met Nancy in early college. I visited Cal at WVU frequently and around sophomore year I met Nancy. I had some issues at home and Nancy, barely knowing me, but allowed me a roof over my head for a week and a half (or longer depending on who you ask). She’s very cool. My favorite memory with Cal & Nancy was undoubtedly watching our friend dominate his first professional MMA fight in Baltimore in 2019. On wedding day I am looking forward to sharing a cabin with all my best friends, and seeing Cal and Nancy all dressed up.

Hey hey hey this is Ashley! Nancy and I go WAY back! Like all the way back to 1998 back, when I was born! 😊 I knew Cal and Nancy were soulmates when I saw them together for the first time. When Cal came for thanksgiving dinner long long ago, I was going to ask him if he wanted to go with me to feed the animals. But instead, being the Maryland city boy he was, he shocked me when he said “can I come with you? I’ve never fed cows before!” With a big smile on my face, I said “yeah come on, we might just turn you into a farm boy after all!” That was the moment I knew I liked Cal for Nancy. On wedding day, I look forward to seeing my best friend marry her soul mate. I keep picturing Nancy in her stunningly beautiful dress and my dad crying (even though he will say “I have something in my eye!)

I’ve known Cal since my junior year of high school. Him and Evan Luke were wrestling partners. I couldn’t tell you how I ended up hanging out with them but after we all became friends the Wolf Pack was created. We’ve been friends ever since. My favorite memory with Cal and Nancy also happens to be the first time I met Nancy. It was during one of the wolf pack adventures to WVU. We started at Cal’s fraternity, Sigma Chi, and then ended up walking around the entire WVU campus until 5 am. There were five of us so we had to crash at Nancy’s apartment and I took cushions and made a bed of them on the floor. On wedding day I’m most excited to welcome Nancy into the wolf pack.

I’m Molly; I am THE middle of Nancy’s sisters. As the other’s, her and I have some great memories. Although I don’t remember the first time I met Cal, I feel like he’s been here forever, considering he’s been here for awhile. I am most excited to share memories on wedding day. I would be lying if I said I’m not excited to get lit with everyone. Nancy, your going to look gorgeous!❤️

Cal was my college roommate in 2014 at WVU and I soon met Nancy after they started dating a year later. My favorite memory with Cal and Nancy were the many nights we stayed up talking and hanging out throughout college. On wedding day, I am most excited for breaking it down on the dance floor with my favorite couple

Hello, my name is Emily! I have a very long history with Nancy due to the fact I am her youngest sister. When Cal came into the picture, it was an interesting pair at first from my point of view, but looking in now I know the match was made in Heaven. On wedding day, I am most excited to watch this match made in Heaven say their vows. Sharing their emotions between one another surrounded my family and friends will be a scene right out of a Hallmark Movie.

Cal & I met at the gym when I asked him to spot me while doing incline bench press. He asked what music I was listening to & I told him Metallica- one of his favorite bands. I met Nancy when Cal and I went to a party at the Copper Beach Apartments in Morgantown and Nancy, who lived in the same complex, let me crash on her couch after meeting me for the first time. My favorite memory with Cal & Nancy is my 25th birthday. We went to Morgantown Brewing Company where Cal worked to celebrate. That night we bonded over dumb decisions and getting sick. On wedding day, I am most excited to see what we all knew was going to happen come to fruition - Cal & Nancy getting married - and to make more memories & funny drinking stories with my life-long, loyal, and great friends: Cal and Nancy.

Hi guys! My name is Jessica. I met Nancy a little more than two years ago when I started working at Iron Horse Tavern and we immediately hit it off. I don’t exactly remember the first time I met Cal, but I am pretty sure Nancy invited me over for a cookout! Whenever I saw them together I just knew that they had something special, they’re basically the same person with maybe a 1% difference in their personalities 😂 On wedding day I am most excited to see Nancy walk down the aisle and Cal’s reaction. I know that it is going to be one of the most beautiful moments that I will probably ever witness. True love is something that is hard to come across and these two are so lucky to have something so strong. I can’t wait to continue making beautiful memories with you guys forever!

Cal is my “Big Brother” mentor through Sigma Chi which is how I met him, and I met Nancy through him at the Fraternity. My favorite memory will always be spending time with Cal and Nancy during those late nights at 700 North High Street. On wedding day, I am most excited to drink beer with the new bride and groom.

Hi! I’m Cannan. I’m the “wolfling” of the “Wolf Pack”. Cal and Nancy are some of my daddy’s best friends, and so they are mine, too! My favorite memory with Cal and Nancy is when they gave me cool toys and played with me! I’m so excited to be a part of their special day!”
