Things To Do

PG&J's Dog Park Bar

800 Baxter Avenue, Louisville, KY 40204
, 502-630-6350

A fun place that Aaron and Nancy frequently visit. Humans can bring their dogs and it has plenty of indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to explore. It also features a full bar with a lot of non alcoholic options and plenty of TVs for catching games. Even if you don't have a dog to bring, it is a lot of fun!

Falls of the Ohio State Park

201 West Riverside Drive, Clarksville, IN 47129
, 812-280-9970

This is a state park where we frequently take the dogs. There are a lot of fossil beds to explore as well.

Recbar

10301 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown, KY 40299
, 502-509-3033

Recbar has both a Southern Indiana and Louisville location. Both locations have great food and a lot of arcade games for people of all ages to enjoy.

The Enchanted Forest & Music Hall

45 West 1st Street, New Albany, IN 47150
, 470-588-2337

A fun outdoor music venue for seeing local talent in Southern Indiana. It is dog friendly and has great food and drinks.

Charlestown State Park

3000 State Park Drive, Charlestown, IN 47111
, 812-256-5600

Charlestown State Park is another one of our favorite places to take the dogs. It also has a local attraction, Rose Island which is an abandoned amusement park. Warning, the hill is extremely steep!
