Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Nancy White and Tim Darby
Weather permitting, Billings has a multitude of hiking trails and various national and state parks. Outdoors not your scene? Billings has a great craft brew scene, including Angry Hanks, Cactus Creek, and UberBrew to name a few. There's also indoor water parks, arcades, and indoor trampoline parks for family friendly fun.

Pictograph Cave State Park

3401 Coburn Rd, Billings, MT 59101

Pictograph Cave State Park is a National Historic Landmark known for its importance to Northern Plains Archaeology. Visitors will learn about the rock art and artifacts found here which dates thousands of years old. This 23 acre park features walking trails, stunning scenery, a green-design visitor's center, picnic grounds, museum displays, everything you need for a fun and educational visit!

Yellowstone Art Museum

401 N 27th Street, Billings, MT 59101

This extensive permanent collection of contemporary and historic art of America's Rocky Mountain West includes more than 3,000 significant paintings and drawings.

Angry Hanks

20 N 30th St, Billings, MT 59101

Local microbrewery that sources all of their ingredients from Montana and Washington. Please note that they are cash only, but they do have an ATM on site.

This House of Books

224 N Broadway, Billings, MT 59101

This House of Books is an independent community-owned full-service bookstore in downtown Billings. Their book selection is broad, with a focus on local & Western, science & nature, and children's books. Their tea bar serves close to 200 teas and herbs imported from around the world, many blended right on premises, by the cup or in bulk

Pompeys Pillar

3039 US Highway 312, Pompeys Pillar, MT 59064

Lewis, Clark, and Sacagawea made their way to Montana on their travels, and made their mark on Pomeys Pillar. Here you can see centuries-old Native American petroglyphs and a carved signature from William Clark himself. There is a museum onsite to learn more about Native American culture and US western expansion.

Yellowstone National Park

(307) 344-7381

The world's first and (in our opinion) greatest National Park. Just a 2.5 hour drive from Billings, you can get there via the Beartooth Highway and admire some of the most scenic landscapes the country has to offer. Yellowstone features Old Faithful, plenty of buffalo, and maybe even a moose or two.
