Look At Us, We’re Doing It!

We both swiped right the summer of 2015, and met for coffee for our first date. The conversation was easy and lasted for hours. Our many adventures that summer (including Johnny Cash impersonators, bluegrass concerts at an old bus station, and a 50th anniversary celebration) led us to some realizations: 1) We loved each other; and 2) We wanted to give this a real shot. So after a year of long distance, hundreds of hours on the phone, and many flights across the country later it just made sense for us to be permanently together in Maryland, where we currently live with our two cats. For our summer trip of 2019, we chose to go back to Billings for the 4th of July. That weekend, Tim took me to the same coffee shop where we first met followed by a walk on the Rims overlooking the city. After a couple of hiccups, we found ourselves in the most perfect spot, surrounded by trees and looking out at the mountains in the distance. Tim got down on his knee, and you know the rest.
