Danielle and Carianna became friends in the 7th grade and seventeen years later, here we are! Danielle has truly stuck by Nan’s side through the years and has always been the solid rock of friendship that Carianna has been blessed with. Nan is so excited to have Danielle by her side on her wedding day and couldn’t ask for more.

Living across the hall from Nan her freshman year of college at PLU, Kaitlyn pulled Carianna out of her shell and the chaos never stopped from that moment forward. No matter the amount of distance between them, these two don’t talk with out making each other laugh so hard they cry.

Being raised with just one brother, Carianna finally gained a sister in October when Nicole married her brother Caleb! Nan cannot wait for what the future has in store for this relationship and for generations to come. Truly blessed to have this amazing person in her life.

Karli and Nan were assigned as Freshman year roommates in the dorms at Pacific Lutheran University. The assignment could not have been a better match. They continued to live together all 4 years of college and got an apartment together after college until Nan joined the Navy. Karli has been an answered prayer in Nan’s life from the beginning.
Best Man
After Greg became close with Adam Barnes, Andrew’s older brother, he was forced into yet another brotherhood with Andrew. :) After college, Greg got a job in Mobile, Alabama and moved in with the Barnes family and that is when Greg and Andrew’s relationship flourished. Although these two thrive off each other’s chaos and sarcasm, Greg is honored to have Andrew standing by his side as his best man.

Greg is gaining yet another brother in Caleb, as he is Carianna’s only sibling and older brother. Although it was a little intimidating to meet Caleb at first because he looks like Clark Kent on steroids, Greg soon realized that he is one of the most genuine and kind hearted individuals that Greg has ever met. Greg feels blessed to have Caleb in his life.
Groomsman
Jacob is Greg’s sister Natalie’s significant other. Greg’s initial impression several years ago when first hearing about his little sister’s boyfriend was “mad dog”, but after meeting Jacob at Greg’s Officer Candidate School Graduation in 2014 and getting to know him, he realized that Jacob has a huge heart and would give the shirt off his back to anyone. Greg and Nan are so lucky to be able to spend time with Jacob and Natalie any time they are taking a trip home to Idaho and are so excited for what the future has in store for these relationships.
Groomsman
Dylan, better known as “Sheeb”, is Greg’s youngest and goofiest sibling. Although they grew up eight years apart and for most of Dylan’s adolescent life Greg was in a different part of the country, Dylan has always looked up to Greg in life, but not in stature. :) Dylan always makes time to visit, even living with Greg for a summer in San Diego, and even though he overstays his welcome, Greg and Nan love him very much.
Groomsman
Greg and Adam met at Troy University while taking multiple classes together. Adam realized that Greg was better at Chemistry than him and essentially asked Greg to be his friend. He invited Greg to spend the summer at his house in Daphne for a summer class and from that moment on, their relationship grew and Greg was welcomed with open arms into the Barnes family.
Officiant
LT Kelly Harris and Nan, not knowing each other at all just going about their lives, were placed in the same Officer Candidate School class when they both joined the Navy in 2013. After crushing OCS together, they moved in together in Pensacola, FL to start flight school. Their journey together in friendship, in the Navy, and in sisterhood continues to be an amazing ride. Greg and Nan are honored to have Kelly be their officiant for their big day!
