Coeur d'Alene is a thriving city with tons of opportunities to enjoy summer and experience the inland northwest. Tubbs Hill is a great local hiking destination where you can spend as little as an hour on the loop trail or a whole day cliff jumping and enjoying the water. Just on the other side of the marina is City Park where you can lounge on the sandy beach and let the kids play at Fort Sherman. Coeur d'Alene Water Sports is a local shop that offers short term rentals of Paddle Boards, Paddle Boats or Kayaks. Contact Coeur d'Alene Adventures if your interested in renting motorized watercraft or river rafting. Timberline Adventures is a unique zip line experience high above the panhandle forest. If you have time to explore areas outside of Coeur d'Alene we suggest visiting Silver Mountain for the Gondola Ride, historic Wallace for the Sierra Silver Mine Tour, Lookout Pass to ride the Route of the Hiawatha Bike Trail or Silverwood Theme Park.

This is an EXCELLENT restaurant and experience if you are looking for a nice restaurant outside of the venue resort. Treat yourself to a Bloody Ceaser and oysters on a floating restaurant with an amazing view of the Lake!

Beautiful spot for lunch overlooking the lake and famous golf course! You can take a boat taxi from the CDA resort over or drive over to the golf course gate entrance and let them know you are coming for lunch.

The Beacon
