Christy

Matron of Honor

Emmanuel

Best Man

Well of course Josh is my little brother so I’ve known him all his life. He is the closest person to me and the bond we have with each other is un breakable. We’ve had a lot of good and bad times but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I met Nana years ago when she and her mom were bringing josh home from a baseball game. It was a brief meeting so I really didn’t know much about her. Over the years we’ve developed a strong bond with each other and I consider her one of my 2 favorite people in life. I’m looking forward to seeing what God has planned for them

Aja

Maid of Honor

I first met josh in Kindergarten at Winston Elementary. From the very first day of our meeting, we became friends instantly and were joined at the hip, along with Olivia. Josh and I stayed friends all the way through high school, where I met my Bestfriend for life, Nana. Nana and I became the inseparable sophomore year in high school, where we’ve created a bond that is truly indescribable. Having two of my closest friends fall in love was a beautiful sight, but now they are getting MARRIED and I am so excited to witness this union! I love you guys!

Rashonda

Bridesmaid

I am Rashonda, the only sister of the Groom soooo, I’ve known him since forever! He was my baby. I met Nana in 2016 at Joshua’s graduation party. We didn’t speak much but Joshua asked if she could come and sit with me one day. I agreed and we have been SISTERS ever since! I am so excited that my brother has found his person and that Nana has found her “Pearson”!

Well, Josh and I met through our families at church. Our parents knew each other before we were both born so it seemed that we were all destined to be cousins, especially, since we stayed down the street from each other. There have been countless memories, gatherings, summers playing basketball and video games, birthdays, arguments, fights, and whatever else you can name between us all. I am beyond honored to have been able to watch your transition from a kid that cried all of the time, to a young man of God that is about to take part in holy matrimony. I tell you and Emmanuel all of the time that blood could not make us all closer and I mean that. I know you and Nana's love is real and I pray that God continues to bless yall. Congratulations again. I love yall

Olivia

Bridesmaid

It all began in kindergarten when I met Josh, of course, me being that little I didn’t know at the time he would become one of my best friends. He’s more like a brother now that I think about it. Junior prom is where I met Nana aka my sister! I remember to this day I was so nervous I didn’t know anybody going to this prom and the friend I thought I had met there left that’s where Nana stepped in with here welcoming presence and made it a night to remember. Now, two people that I love so much and can’t live without are getting married and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for these two! I’m so excited for their new journey together in love!

In all honesty, I don’t remember how I exactly met Nana. It seems like since starting second semester of Freshman Year, myself and Nana have been very cool. She’s always been one of those friends that, though we didn’t talk everyday, I knew I could always count on her. Up until this previous school year, our friendship seemed to be a typical friendship. It wasn’t until this school year that we went from a typical friendship to Nana becoming one of my absolute best friends. This is around the time that I met Josh as well. To put it into shorter, simpler terms. Nana and Josh have become a HUGE part of my life and I’m eternally thankful for them and their friendship towards me! Love you guys and Congrats! -Chubby 🖤

Emily

Bridesmaid

Nana and I met freshman year in soccer, but didn’t really get close until junior and senior year during volleyball! Nana always had my back, literally, on and off the court. Our relationship continued to grow throughout college and last September, Nana stood beside me on my special day. Nana is one of my oldest friends still actively a huge part of my life, and for that, she is forever a giant part of my heart. Nana and I have a friendship unlike any other! I love this girl and I am so thankful to have grown up and grown into the women we are today together. Nana has helped me grow in confidence and was a friend to me when I was in a scary and uncomfortable phase in life. I am beyond blessed to have watched Nana grow into the confident, charismatic, and strong woman she is today.

I met sweet Nana first. We served together at CentriKid in the summer of 2017. Adventure truly awaited as we continued our friendship after camp. Some of my favorite moments came from our FaceTime's after camp where we did life together, even from different states. She even gave me the best blending tips in case I ever needed them! I met Josh through my friendship with Nana. It was one of my greatest joy's to become friends with Josh, and to be a witness to one of the sweetest, funniest, and sassiest couples I've ever met. I'm so thankful for these past three years of encouragement and memories that I've found in my relationship with sweet Josh and Nana. I am so excited for their special day, but I'm even more excited for the lifetime worth of blessings that the Lord has in store for them.

Darby

Bridesmaid

"I met Nana and Josh later on in their love story about 3-4 years ago when I first came to JSU! Not gonna lie, when I first met Nana I was scared to death of her but it took one girls wine night and a game of cards against humanity for me to realize this gal was about to be one of my best friends. Nana came along when I truly needed her most, we bonded over our faith and she taught me so much about myself, I truly would not be the same Darby without her. When I finally got to meet Josh I had no doubt in my mind they were made for each other. Their love is so genuine and true and sheesh the smile that he can put on Nana's face is something so special. You two have been a friend to me in every season and I cannot thank you enough for letting me witness such a beautiful love story."

JP and I first met at the governor's ridge pool, but we made it a basketball court. JP was one of the very few people who could kinda guard me out there. When I first talked to him I knew he was a competitor, but I also knew he was a great friend. After the first day we met, he and E invited me to their home to get on the video game and chill and ever since then he’s been my brother
