Sangeet

A Sangeet is a night dedicated to music, dance and fun! Come ready to celebrate, cheer and hit the dance floor as we begin our wedding celebrations with an unforgettable party! The Sangeet will be taking place in Halls A & B of Ikon and cocktail hour will begin at 6:00 PM followed by dinner and dancing. Attire for a Sangeet: typically bright, colourful and something comfortable to dance in. Women can wear dresses or Indian attire (see FAQ section for suggestions on where to shop) and men can wear a suit or Indian attire.

Ceremony

8:30 am - 2:00 pm

The Baraat will start at 9:00 AM (we are asking guests to arrive at 8:30 AM) outside the Liberty Grand Complex followed by tea and a light breakfast. The Ceremony will begin at 10:30 AM in the Liberty Grand Courtyard. Please note the ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting). Lunch will be served after the ceremony around noon in the Renaissance Room beside the courtyard. Given the ceremony is downtown, please account for any additional time due to traffic! Attire for the Ceremony: please see FAQ for detailed information of what to expect at the ceremony. For women, Indian attire is welcome or for non Indian attire pants and a blouse or maxi dress that you can sit in comfortably. For men, Indian attire is welcome or for non-Indian attire a dress shirt and trousers are great!

Reception

The reception will be taking place in the Victory Ballroom on the 3rd floor of Hotel X. Cocktail Hour will begin at 5:30 PM. The Dinner Reception will begin at 7:00 PM. Given the reception is downtown, please account for any additional time due to traffic! Attire for Reception: Formal attire is requested. We invite guests to dress elegantly, suits for men (tuxedos are not required) and formal evening wear for women.
