Maid of Honor
Alexandra aka Zander is my baby sister, best friend, and all-around amazing human. She is also one of the smartest people on the planet. Alexandra loves to debate about anything and everything, so be sure to find her on the day if you’re up for a good conversation (that’s if you can keep up!) Zander, you may be taller than me, but in my eyes, you will always be my baby sister to whom I would secretly feed popcorn while you were still in your crib.
Best Man
I met Greg at a crucial time for a young man. With no real guidance, I was trying to figure things out all on my own. Greg was there to provide me with that guidance. He always had an answer for all of my tough and sometimes personal questions. He treated me like a younger brother from day one. We have been all over the country and I’m blessed to have shared many laughs with Greg and his wife Wendy. They have the energy to light up any room and make any experience a memorable one. I can’t think of anyone else to share this moment with me.
Maid of Honor
I am so honored that Yoany can keep her childhood promise of being at my wedding! Even though we are constantly separated our friendship only grew stronger throughout the years and I can honestly say Yoany is more like a sister than a friend at this point. Not only is Yoany reliable, caring, and funny, but, she is also that person that I can go days without talking to but the moment we reconnect feels like yesterday. She is such an amazing person inside and out and I am truly blessed to have her in my life.
Groomsman
I will never forget the day that I met my older brother Vic due to his thick Texan accent! He's honestly felt like a second father and is probably the reason I'm so spoiled to this day. I remember when I was looking for a prom dress and my mom gave me a spending limit, of course, the dress I wanted was three times over that limit and Vic brought the dress for me anyway! But as sweet as Vic is he also made sure to discipline us (Yes, I still remember you leaving Andre and me at Grandma's house when we wouldn't stop complaining that the seawater wasn't clear). All in all, I know Vic is always here for us, and I'm grateful to have such a funny, and caring brother like him.
Bridesmaid
Jazzie is my baby sister, best friend, and therapist! I don’t even have the words to fully describe the happiness she brings me. Jazzie is such a sweet, considerate, welcoming person, whom I admire and am so thankful to have in my life, and not just for her savvy fashion sense! Those sweet memories of my life spent with her are the best and they never fail to bring me joy and put a smile on my face. We definitely have the craziest memories together, which we will one day tell our children.
Groom
Lucas and I instantly clicked and I knew I had found a great friend. We have put in an incredible amount of hours working side by side and I believe there still isn’t a better duo than himself and I. Not only did we work great together, but I have also seen the amount of effort he puts into every project he works on, and is a great example to have. He’s shown me how to lead by example. He’s taught me how to invest by showing me some of his investments. He’s there anytime I need him and he makes the perfect groomsman.
Bridesmaid
As my big sister, I have known Allison my whole life and can honestly say that she has such a loving, sensitive, and warm heart. She's amazing inside and out and I am lucky to have her in my life. Even though she sometimes feels more like my mother than a sister she has made such a beautiful impact in my life that I can't even imagine what life will be like without her.
Groom
My boy Jawnay! John is one of the nicest and most humble people I’ve ever known. He’s the only person I know that can give you bad and unexpected news in the calmest manner, and make you smile at the end of that conversation. He’s known to stay calm, collected, and focus solely on the solutions which is something we all must learn. To add to that, he’s a guy I can depend on in any situation. He’s always up for a good time and a great example to have around me.
Bridesmaid
Growing up as sisters, Angela and I were either dying of laughter or scheming against our siblings. She’s been part of so many of my best memories. Who would have thought that all it took was us sharing popsicles the first time we met to create a lifelong friendship.
Groomsman
My not-so-little brother has grown from a little boy running around the yard in his red brief to a young man with an amazing sense of savvy and style. I will never forget the day he was born since it was the day before my birthday. At the time it didn't feel like much of a birthday gift since I'd rather have a puppy, but I guess a baby brother would do (I'm just kidding!). Honestly, I've felt as though we've always shared a special bond as we've shared every major life event together, be that good or bad and I am happy and excited to share this next one as well.
Bridesmaid
I will never forget the first day I met Avesta. We've become such close friends that It feels as though I've known her in another life! She has made such a big impact in my life, and I don't know where I would be without her! Avesta is by far one of the most interesting women that I have ever met. She is so fun to be around, has a passion for knowledge, and a great sense of humour.
Groom
Marcos is one of the twin brothers I grew up with, and the younger brother I never had. We share many memories but the clearest ones consist of playing video games and eating Domino’s pizza through the night. There was never a dull moment when I’d constantly stay over at their house. From jumping on the trampoline to boxing in the front yard. From going to Church together to making funny faces and hearing their dad's rap music all night. Those were some of my favorite days that I’m grateful to have had.
Bridesmaid
Yulie is not only my future sister-in-law but also one of my dearest friends. From the moment we met, she has welcomed me into the family with open arms and made me feel right at home! We’ve since shared plenty of memorable nights (with many more to come!). She has an infectious laugh and can always crack us up with her silly jokes. To my beautiful sister, you are the only person who I share my upbringing with. We grew up fighting as typical siblings do, but worse, and I hope I have been able to make up for those days. I’ve grown to understand how to respect you. Your relentlessness continues to impress and I’m lucky to have a sister like you.
Groom
Ace! Where do I begin with Ace, I have learned so much from him and I continue to learn from him every day. He’s the kind of person to teach you how to fish so you can forever catch your own. He’s the cool uncle that's able to teach you about almost anything because he already knows how to do it. You can have the hardest task to accomplish but Ace will make the task feel like breeze! Consider yourselves blessed to be in the presence of Ace.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa is my big sister, best friend, shopping buddy, and one of the smartest people I know. So smart that I haven't been able to show my mom my high school grades to this day! I am honestly the luckiest girl on the planet because the heavens blessed me with the sweetest sister in the universe. I will never forget the days when we would order a thin crust pepperoni pizza and watch tv shows from sunrise to sunset.
Groom
Franklin is also one of the twin brothers I shared my childhood with. Another memory I have with the twins are going to other children’s birthday parties together, and some children wouldn’t make it out. 🤣 Seriously though, we would wreak havoc at some of these parties, especially if there was a jump house involved. From a young age, I noticed how Franklin was very independent. He’s now been overseas in the military and with how crazy this year has been, I feel blessed to have my brother by my side to share this moment with me.
Bridesmaid
Janessa is such a phenomenal sister, inspiration, and friend to me. We grew up playing video games, singing backstreet boys, and just making the most of the time we had together. Janessa always makes sure that everyone is well taken care of and is one of the best storytellers that I have ever met! (Her driving skills, on the other hand, are a little questionable). Seeing as she’s my sister, I’ve known her my whole life and couldn’t imagine having anyone else standing by my side on my wedding day.
Groom
My boy Juan! He meets all the qualifications to be one of the most interesting men in the world. His life experiences are like no other, from being in the military to being a firefighter in New York. He tends to see life differently and reminds you to make the most out of every situation and have fun while doing so. Juan treats you like family from day one so it makes a lot of sense to have him be part of this special moment.
Bridesmaid
I met Rochelle shortly after starting college and can honestly say my college days wouldn't have been the same without her! Rochelle has such a beautifully creative soul, giving personality, and go-getter mentality. I've loved getting to know her throughout the years and know we will continue to have as much fun in the years to come.
Mother of the Bride
To the sweet and gentle soul that I call Mom. Thank you for always being there with support, advice, love, and care. I am convinced that you're Wonder Woman in disguise. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have been raised by a woman like you and can genuinely say that I am the person I am today because of you. You are an amazing role model and I appreciate everything you do for us. Because of you i've always loved summers, when we would all travel as a family and shop from sunrise to sunset. I will never forget when you promised to take us to Disney World and after gathering all five of us in the car and driving for 3 longggggg hours, we arrived at the magical land of cabinetry.
Father of the Bride
Dad, I can never repay you... literally. I honestly have the best memories with you and out of all the amazing qualities that you possess, my favourite of all is that you always make me smile. I remember when I told you didn't how to swim and you gave me a look of astonishment and loudly exclaimed "you don't know how to swim!" and then proceeded to throw me into the deep part of the sea and said "swim or die"... as you all can see I'm still here today to tell this story and I learned how to swim that day! I have so many memories of you taking us to Rum Point Beach every Sunday where you would sneak in our favourite corned beef sandwiches and capri suns, even though we all knew it wasn't allowed and we ended up locking the keys inside the car because of it!
Mother of the Groom
To my mother, you’ve managed to raise an amazing son despite our challenges and our surroundings growing up. I can still hear you cheering me on at my baseball games, and you always revolved your life around mine. The little things like having a home-cooked meal every day make me so grateful for you today. My mother never hesitated to get me the newest PlayStation game, or the newest pair of Jordans. As I got older I started to understand how hard you worked for your money. I finally realized what was truly important and what wasn’t. I remember the day I called you and told you I was going to take you to Hawaii and retire you one day. I’m proud to say I’ve accomplished half of those goals. I’ve dedicated myself to making sure you are taken care of.
Father of the Groom
To my father, I thank you for the amazing childhood you gave me and for raising me as tough as you did. I truly understand it now and I’m forever grateful. My earliest memories consist of jumping on your back and playing horse, it was one of my favorite things to do. I also remember the days you’d sit me by your side and I’d watch you replace brake pads, I was always there to pass you the wrong tool. I can see why I’m such a hard worker, I’ve watched you so work hard my whole life.
