Furthermore, his maternal grandfather, the late Thomas Eddy, was born on September 9, 1931!

Question

Who took your engagement photos? Where?

Answer

One of Anna’s lovely college roommates, Jenn Goz, took our beautiful engagement photos in Brooklyn Heights in late October of 2022. We revisited the apartment where we met for the first time, the streets we walked and talked, and the train station where we fell in love. Her photography company is called “Existing with Jenn” — so lovely!

Question

So... How do you pronounce Schierbaum and Nagy?

Answer

I swear, sometimes, we don't even know the answer ourselves. Anna pronounces her last name as SHEER-BOMB. Tim's entire family pronounces it NAY-GHEE, but Tim, feeling a certain draw to his heritage, made the switch to the original Hungarian pronunciation when he entered college. Tim pronounces his last name as NAHDJ, like "badinage," which we hope there is much of at the wedding! It's also similar to the pronunciation of "espionage."
