What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to wear formal attire (such as suits, tuxedos, floor length gowns, or formal cocktail dresses). We love the elegance of jewel tones—emerald green, sapphire blue, merlot, amethyst purple, and deep garnet—if you’d like to coordinate with our color palette!

Are plus ones and/or children allowed?

Unfortunately, due to limited space, we're unable to accommodate plus-ones and children beyond those named on the invitation.

What if I can't make it to your wedding?

Answer

We will miss you dearly!! If you can't make it, please let us know as soon as possible.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors at The Oxford Hotel, so no need to worry about the weather. However, we recommend bringing a coat—November in Denver can be chilly!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our wedding. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. During the cocktail and reception please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, The Oxford Hotel offers valet parking, and there are also nearby public parking garages and street parking options. Valet parking will be discounted to $17 for our wedding guests. If you're staying at the hotel, overnight parking is available for an additional fee.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts to allow time to find your seat. Our ceremony begins at 5pm.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will be offering a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks during the cocktail hour and throughout the reception.

Are there fun things to do in Denver while we're there?

Answer

Definitely! Some nearby favorites include Union Station (just steps from The Oxford), Larimer Square for dining and shopping, and the Denver Art Museum. For a quick nature break, check out City Park or take a short drive to Red Rocks. We’ll share a few more recommendations on our site under the “Things to Do” section.
