North Carolina Botanical Garden
This is our wedding venue, so you will definitely spend some time here, but there are also lots of flowers and plants to see and hiking trails behind it. A great spot to spent some quiet time before the wedding or on another day of your trip!
Cat Tales Cat Cafe
Avoid if you're allergic to cats! We went this year for Nadia's birthday. Very calm and relaxing. Requires advance registration.
Merritt's Grill
At the end of the road we live on! A well-known BLT restaurant in the area.
Golden Fig Books - Carrboro
This is where Luca works!
Lanza’s Cafe
This cafe has board games to play and a number of actual meals in addition to pastries and drinks!
Rumors Chapel Hill
A fun thrift store with unique finds. Julia highly recommends!
Carrboro Farmers Market
They sell coffee, sweet potato donuts, hard cider, cheeses, and the traditional farmer's market produce. Often has live music in the square. You might run into some of Nadia's students; many are regulars!
Weaver Street Market
Hot and cold foods available, plus grocery store selections. We don't go for the food, though--the outdoor space is a great place to hang out or meet up with friends!
