Kevin has been one of Joe's closest friends since third grade. Their friendship has weathered every chapter of adulthood since, including the season Joe squatted on a mattress in the bedroom next to Kevin and his then-newlywed wife Sarah. Kevin is the father of three children, and Joe is godfather to his middle child, Everett. Together, they cofounded Hogfest, a 20-year tradition of swine, wine and knife wounds. After four decades of laughs, tears, and adventures, Joe and Nadia are thankful to have Kevin stand beside them as they begin this new adventure.

Daniel is the oldest in our blended crew. Wise beyond his years, he somehow manages to be both the most responsible and the most sarcastic at the same time. He’s the logical, grounding presence in the group — the one who likes to understand how things work and often explains it to everyone else. With his quick wit, hilarious one-liners, and steady, thoughtful nature, he keeps us laughing while also keeping us grounded. Truly the best best man we could ask for.

Mateo, the bride’s eldest, will proudly walk his mom up the aisle. Sporty and competitive, he’s also the one brave enough to try any new food put in front of him. Beneath his tough exterior is the kindest heart — one that has carried more than most kids his age and shown incredible strength through life’s challenges. Our adventurous foodie and sporty big brother who's secretly hoping the wedding includes a seventh-inning stretch.

Eli, the bride’s playful middle child, is equal parts baseball player, bookworm, and class clown. He’s giddy, goofy, and full of life — the kind of kid who can turn a quiet afternoon into a full-blown comedy show. He’s thriving in the chaos of a house filled with different personalities, and we adore his big smile and bigger heart. The ultimate middle brother, Eli brings his playful spark and side eye to keep everyone laughing.

Eliza, daughter of the groom, is silly, sweet, and a proud Taylor Swift superfan (just try to out-sing her — you won’t). A baker extraordinaire and the unofficial teacher of her new little sister, she’s also fiercely competitive and always up for a game, whether it’s cards, trivia, or anything that can be turned into a contest. She sprinkles joy like powdered sugar wherever she goes. Eliza will be bringing her fun, big-sister energy to bridesmaid duties — with plenty of sparkle to spare.
Zoe Messeh

The youngest of the whole crew, Zoe is fiery, spunky, and full of imagination. She’s especially thrilled that she and Eliza are boosting the girl-to-boy ratio in the house, and the two of them can disappear into their room to play together for hours. Equal parts sass and sparkle, Zoe is known for her big personality — and, occasionally, a very colorful vocabulary for someone so little. Our little sister firecracker, bringing sass, sweetness, and nonstop energy to bridesmaid life.
