VOW is a non-profit organization whose mission is to end child marriages. Every year, 12 million girls are married before they turn 18. That’s one girl married every 3 seconds, robbed of her future and put at risk of violence, ill-health, and trapped in poverty. When grassroots organizations work with girls and their communities, they can delay the age of marriage and provide alternatives for girls. Every girl should have the right to a safe and healthy future, including the right to choose if, when, and whom to marry. 100% of the funds raised support grassroots efforts worldwide, working to ensure girls can create their own future.

OAS is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide homes, health, and happiness to Oakland’s homeless animals. OAS provides care for every animal brought to their door, regardless of age, breed, temperament, or medical condition. They are Oakland’s only “open admissions” shelter and take in thousands of homeless, lost, neglected, and abused animals every year. OAS makes sure animals get love, attention, and every opportunity for care and placement within their care. The organization has provided financial summaries on its website to show how proceeds have been used.
