Barton Springs Municipal Pool
Austin's favorite swimming hole and our favorite place to go on a hot day or recover from a long night drinking - nothing will refresh you like this water!
South Congress Avenue
South Congress has a huge variety of boutiques and restaurants that are great to check out! Whether you're in the mood to window shop at upscale boutiques and local vintage, or maybe check out cowboy boots at Allen's Boots, South Congress has it all. On weekends you might find a popup market of local eclectic wares, and if all that shopping and wandering works up an appetite, there are lots of food trucks and restaurants too.
Zilker Metropolitan Park
For outdoor walks and picnic dates, Zilker Park is a go-to. The botanical garden is beautiful, and there is a 17 mile gravel hike & bike trail all around Lady Bird Lake that's one of Nadia's favorites; the three mile loop is her go-to! In addition to the beautiful walking paths, there are kayak and stand up paddle boards rentals out near the water, a really fun and affordable way to spend an afternoon!
Austin Central Library
A beautiful library in the middle of the city, complete with cafe and beautiful views, their top floor has a study area that is one of our favorite hangs for days when we want to relax but still get work done.
