We're getting married!

Nadia and Eric’s story started long before they ever imagined it would. They knew of each other in high school, but their paths never crossed closely—and Eric insists he doesn’t remember her (which Nadia still finds hard to believe as they ran cross country together every morning). They both went their separate ways, each doing their own thing, unaware of the plans God was quietly setting in motion. After high school, Eric joined the United States Marine Corps, while Nadia graduated and moved to El Paso. During that time, she confidently told her boss—who was married to a serviceman—that she would never date someone in the military because it just seemed too complicated. God, of course, had other plans. When Nadia moved back to their hometown, she received a message from a familiar name: Eric. They started talking, and when he asked what she was doing, she sent a very real, just-woke-up selfie. Eric responded with a photo of himself in uniform—and Nadia panicked. She didn’t respond for ten minutes, called her best friend, and announced the “terrible news”… she was talking to a Marine. But it was already too late. She had fallen for him. Military life wasn’t always easy, but it was full of love, growth, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Looking back, Nadia and Eric truly believe their story was written long before that message was ever sent. Every step, every move, and every unexpected twist was part of God’s perfect plan. They are so grateful for the journey that led them here and can’t wait to begin this next chapter together, surrounded by the people they love.
