In Islam, marriage is more than a celebration. It is a sign of Allah’s mercy and wisdom. As the Qur’an reminds us: “And among His Signs is this: that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, so that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for people who reflect.” (Surah Ar-Rum 30:21) From the beginning, we have found calm in one another, the kind of ease that makes a house feel like a home. We have shared small joys, laughter, and moments of kindness that remind us of the love and mercy Allah places between hearts. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught that marriage is the completion of half of one’s deen. For us, this step is not only about love and companionship, but also about supporting one another in faith and striving towards Allah together. As we begin this journey, we are grateful to share it with our family and friends. Your presence, duas, and love make this day even more meaningful.
