Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Although we would love to celebrate with everyone’s partners or loved ones, we are trying to keep this gathering as intimate as possible (considering we both come from large families). Only those who have a plus one expressly indicated on their save-the-date or invitation will be permitted to bring a guest. In the event other guests are unable to attend, we will consider additional plus-ones on a case-by-case basis.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We are exceptionally lucky to be welcoming lots of little faces into our lives, however our wedding will be Adult-Only.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want all of our guests to be comfortable. There is no strict dress code, but we suggest Cocktail/Semi-Formal.

Is the Venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

40Knots Winery has both indoor and outdoor spaces for our wedding. The Ceremony and Reception will occur in the covered terrace, and Cocktail Hour will filter between the covered bar area and the courtyard outside. In case of inclement weather the terrace can be fully inclosed and heated. The bathrooms are located outside, so we do recommend bringing a coat or jacket as October evenings can be cool.

Will there be a hotel shuttle from the venue?

Answer

Yes, we will arrange for a shuttle to take guests from the venue to the hotel at the end of the night. As there are multiple hotel options in the area, there will be shuttles to one or two locations based on number of guests at each. Details will follow. There is also local taxis and URide (our local Uber-like service) available if you do not wish to wait for the shuttle.
