Question

How can we get to Parker Mill? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We’ll be providing transportation for all guests to and from Parker Mill! There will be a pickup location (one of the block hotels) in downtown AVL and light refreshments will be offered for the stunning scenic drive through Great Smokey Mountains National Park and Nantahala National Forest! If you would prefer to drive yourselves, Parker Mill requests no cars are left overnight.

Are kids welcome?

While we send big hugs to your little ones, our reception will be an adult-only (16+) event. We hope you understand and that you enjoy your night or weekend away! Please send us any additional questions about this.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire - although make sure you wear something you can dance in! For all the lovely ladies, the bride recommends bringing a wrap or light jacket. After all, we’ll be in the mountains and it can get chilly at night. The Dance Floor will have heaters and there’s a cozy outdoor fireplace if you need to warm up!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Parker Mill has a beautiful (covered) outdoor ceremony space and a similar dance floor. The reception will take place inside!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any additional questions!
