Once upon a time, in D.C.'s city of might, A love story began, oh, what a sight! On February 1, 2019, the stars aligned, Myles entered the party, fate intertwined. With a friend by his side, he caught my eye, His charm and grace, I couldn't deny. I thought he was cute, my heart aflutter, He asked for my number, oh, what a stunner! In the spirit of business, a card I gave, Little did I know, love's path it would pave. History unfolded that fateful night, Our souls entwined, love took its flight. March 31st, we became "Boyfriends" true, Knowing our hearts found love so new. By July's warmth, my heart spoke clear, I moved to Maryland, to be near. From California's shore, I journeyed far, Ready to follow love's shining star. Together we thrived, side by side, In love's embrace, our souls did confide. A year passed, and a question arose, In my heart, a desire surely grows. On July 28, 2020, my heart took the lead, With the biggest question, my soul did plead. "Will you marry me?" I asked with glee, And in that moment, time stood still, you see. Our lives forever changed that day, United in love, come what may.
