Incredible. Go here. Modern Israeli restaurant, recipient of James Beard awards for three straight years. The wait might be crazy, so maybe try for lunch instead of dinner? Get the lamb ragu hummus. GO HERE
This is a must if you are looking for amazing atmosphere with great food and live music. It feels like you're in someone's backyard listening to live music and amazing energy.
Go for the “Chick-Syl-vain” Sandwich and Braised Beef Cheeks you will not be disappointed!
Fantastic place to pick up a croissant one of the many spectacular French pastries available. Enjoy the 20 minute walk from the Ace hotel and indulge in sweet or savory delights!
Voted by Bon Apetit as America's Best New Restaurant for 2017! Myles was overjoyed by the fried bologna sandwich but Elliot would suggest the collard green melt! If you're a fan of deviled eggs I would recommend splurging as an add on.
Simple and very New Orleans. A very small bar with two prime window seated tables, excellent for a beer or glass of wine and even better for people watching. While you're there you might also bump into Jerry, a colorful man who will definitely try to give you kitschy mardi gras trinkets. Enjoy.
Napoleon lived here once (or maybe he was going to, but then didn't)--we don't quite remember, but the place has his name and it's got the best muffaletta in town. Also, the interior is iconic New Orleans. Get a Pimm's Cup at the bar, order a muffaletta and sit inside or out. The place oozes NOLA.
If your looking for unique space this is the spot for you! A former tire shop, great cocktails in a relaxing environment.
Get up early so you don't have wait in line to this highly recommended breakfast spot. If you're looking for a place to soak up the alcohol from the night before this is the spot!
If you're looking for something to do other than eating and drinking! Check out this hotspot for improv!
Magazine Street is a major thoroughfare in New Orleans, Louisiana. Like Tchoupitoulas Street, St. Charles Avenue, and Claiborne Avenue, it follows the curving course of the Mississippi River. It's about 5 miles of shops, cafes, restaurants, residential, and antique stores. We highly recommend a long walk down Magazine street, or rent a bike from any number of vendors in the city.
If you want to see beautiful New Orleans homes and Architecture, this is the street to go to. Take a slow drive down, ride a bike, or walk. It's most famous for the dozens of mansions that adorn the tree-lined boulevard for much of the uptown section of the boulevard. This is the street you should ask your driver to take on the way to the Audubon Clubhouse on Saturday night!
A non-denominational, non-segregated cemetery from 1833 with a stunning society tomb for the Jefferson Fire Co. #22. Anne Rice, who used to live around the corner, created some of the most popular tombs here—in her imagination. The Mayfair Witches and Lestat the vampire’s tombs are based off of this cemetery. The cemetery is open Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Late night spot with a lot of flavor.
