Question

How much will this cost? How much will this cost?

Answer

Virgin has 4 classes of cabins to choose from. These cabins range from solo cabins for single sailors and group cabins for up to 4 sailors. These cabins can range from $880.00 to $1,765.00, respectively. We are also offering a discount code for 10% off of your cabin. This code also gives you $100 in bar tab. Virgin charges per cabin, not per person. You must list all individuals occupying a cabin to ensure everyone is booked. Virgin has several specials going on year-round to make costs even more attainable.

Question

Are there alternative payment methods available? Are there alternative payment methods available?

Answer

Yes! Virgin Voyages offers an array of payment plan options through Flexpay. You can also use other options like Affirm and Klarna. If those options do not work, you can always consider rooming with another guest or friend to split the room cost. If you are considering rooming with someone not on the guest list, please let the couple know. There is a chance that individuals may not be able to attend the ceremony, but they are welcome to sail.

Question

How do I book my cabin? How do I book my cabin?

Answer

To book your cabin, you'll need to head over to https://www.virginvoyages.com Choose the Caribbean Region and the travel date of October 2025 to Jan 2026. Our cruise tends not to appear when only January is highlighted. After making those selections, choose the "Fire & Sunset Soirées" itinerary for January 21-25.

Question

How do I get to the ship port? How do I get to the ship port?

Answer

We suggest using Uber or Lyft to get to the port. We usually estimate around $30 for the trip.

Question

Do I need a Passport?Do I need a Passport?

Answer

Although a passport is strongly recommended, you can sail with your original birth certificate and a valid ID.

Question

Do I need ay additional money after booking?Do I need ay additional money after booking?

Answer

Well, It depends. Once you get an Uber or Lyft to the port from the airport, you do not have to spend any more money until you book your Uber or Lyft to go home. However, Virgin does have a couple of extra optional ways to spend money. If you like souvenir shopping, you might want to bring money for shopping on and off the ship. There are also opportunities to buy specialty drinks. Virgin does not have drink packages. They utilize "Bar Credit". You can pre-purchase additional bar credit before you sail or pay as you go onboard. You also receive $100 in free bar credit for booking with our wedding code. This credit applies to premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages such as crafted coffee and fresh pressed juices. The cost of these beverages ranges from $8 -$16. Lastly, if you want to book any excursions at port, they can be booked on the app before sailing or onboard.

Question

Do I have a plus one?Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Yes and Maybe. We would love to have everyone celebrate with us. We also know that having a plus one may make joining us on the cruise more affordable and enjoyable. Most of our guests have thier partners or plus ones listed on the invitation. If you are a single guest, we have no problem with you bringing a plus one onboard. However, we have a certain amount of seats for some of our wedding festivities Any extra seats are first come first served and we want to prioritize guests we know. Therefore, there is a chance that your plus one may not join every wedding activity. We ask that you inform us as soon as possible if you are bringing someone so we can do our best to accommodate everyone.

Question

Will the wedding be the only thing we can do on the cruise? Will the wedding be the only thing we can do on the cruise?

Answer

No! The wedding itself will take place on the evening of January 22nd. We will plan some group activities. However, we want you to enjoy your vacation as much as possible. Most wedding celebrations will happen on the first day and a half of sailing. We will send out more information and the wedding itinerary closer to sailing to assist you in planning your schedule.

Question

I have a special diet. Will that be accommodated?I have a special diet. Will that be accommodated?

Answer

Glad you asked! Virgin Voyages is the second most highly rated cruise line in 2025. This is due to its diversity and all-inclusive offerings. Myles and I have sailed this cruise line 3 times, so we can attest to their value. We want to make sure our guests not only get to celebrate with us but also enjoy a relaxing experience. With every Virgin Voyage, you receive: - Complimentary WIFI - Free Dining at over 20 eateries - Entertainment - Free health and fitness classes - No tips or gratuities - Free Water, Sodas, and Soft Drinks

Question

Can I bring Kids?Can I bring Kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, Virgin Voyages is an adults-only cruise line. Therefore, only sailors 18 and older can attend. We know this is inconvenient for some, but we tried to pick a cruise line that offers the best value and experience. We hope you understand and can attend.

Question

When does the ship leave? When does the ship leave?

Answer

The ship leaves the Miami port, Terminal V, at 5:00 pm. After you book your cruise, you will have the opportunity to book your boarding time. We suggest booking an earlier time so you have time to get settled before the ship sets sail and our welcome dinner. If possible, we also recommend arriving in Miami the day before, which may lower the risk of you missing your boarding time.

Question

What else do I need to bring? What else do I need to bring?

Answer

We will be sending out more helpful tips closer to the date. However, there are a few optional parties that happen onboard. First, is Scarlette night, a night in which everyone wears red and discovers various performances around the ship. The other is the Pajama party on the first night of the sailing. This night you can bring your most comfy pajamas for a night of dancing under the stars.
