Since Abuja has an international airport, we recommend flying through Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (ABV) for Abuja residents. You can use Bolt or cabs for transportation from the airport to the Idu train station.

Train

Idu (Abuja) to Rigasa (Kaduna)

We recommend using the train from Abuja to Kaduna as it will give you a more comfortable experience in comparison to traveling by road. We also recommend booking a ticket a few days prior to your planned trip as the seats can get filled up quickly. You can use Bolt or cabs to get from the Rigasa train station to the Kawo motor park and from there, to Zaria. Tap on "view" to book a ticket.

Since there is an international airport in Kaduna, we recommend flying through Kaduna International Airport. For transportation from the airport to Zaria, you can use Bolt or cabs in the airport straight to Kawo Park, and from there, to Zaria.
