Maid of Honor
Our friendship began in 2012 as two girls from South Carolina at Virginia State University. Over the years, we grew into women navigating a new city, challenges, sorrows, accomplishments, and joy together. Now, I have the honor of witnessing you start this beautiful journey of marrying the love of your life! I’m overjoyed to stand by your side as your maid of honor as you and Aaron begin this next chapter together.
Maid of Honor
Imani has known me for 29 years (my whole life). Lol. When we were little kids, I always looked forward to her coming to spend the summer with us. She was the best thing about summer break. We were inseparable when she was her. My mom and her dad are brother and sister and they always dressed us up alike when we were younger. She has always been a big sister to me rather than a first cousin. She is still my protector until this very day and now she is my son’s protector also. She is the best auntie/godmother anyone could ask for. I love you to the moon and back girly!

I met Mani when we were nerds in the step-up program the summer before our freshman year in college. We've been together ever since. She is such a goal-oriented and driven person, so smart and not a mean bone in her body. I love being her friend and the 13 years (going on 14) of growing from teenagers to adults. Can't wait to see what the future holds for her and God willing I'll be there to see it!

Imani and I met in middle school through the gifted and talented program and we have been friends ever since. From playing organized sports together to navigating college searches, our friendship has grown and sustained every stage of life. Our mothers are besties, and they’ve served as a source of comfort and strength for one another based on the connection initiated from Imani and I. I’m so grateful to have a friend to lean on through all of the changes of life (and so does my mom). I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter of wedded bliss with Aaron and Imani. Cheers to love!

Imani and I met at THE ILLUSTRIOUS Virginia State University 🧡💙 We played on the women's volleyball team together. We even played intramural basketball together for one year (lol). Our friendship evolved from teammates to best friends (sisters). Throughout the years, we have made so many memories together and watched each other transition from young ladies to grown woman. I am honored and blessed to be apart of Aaron and Imani's special day.

I met Imani at my local LA Fitness gym, and right away, I admired how focused and dedicated she was to her workout. Summoning a bit of courage, I walked up to her — and true to her gracious and kind nature, she welcomed me to join her. From that day on, she’s taught me so much about determination and staying motivated to reach my goals. Working out together has been so much fun, and with her encouragement, I achieved my goals in a remarkably short time. Imani is not only an incredible workout partner but also a fun, kind, and trustworthy friend. I’m grateful to have her in my corner and so excited to see her take this next step in her journey.

Hi I'm Bri! Mani and I first met at THEEEE Virginia State University. We stayed in the same freshman dorm and bonded further in our AP courses. Without a doubt our friendship was solidified on the Volleyball court! She was an exceptional student athlete and always the best example. On and off the court we’ve continued to support each other throughout life’s twists and turns. Chileeee and there were a few lol. She’s always been a phone call, text and FLIGHT away! My girl is so deserving of all the love and blessings manifesting in her life! Excited and honored to celebrate this wonderful union.

Imani and I first met when I started my volleyball career at Virginia State University in 2012. We have established a great relationship as we faced many highs and lows on the court. Volleyball has brought us together emotionally and spiritually; this convinced me that Imani was someone I could trust and call on when I needed support. We weren’t only teammates; she was my battle buddy in ROTC. That revealed how similar our goals and interest were. We went our separate ways after graduation, but we remained good friends. On and off the court, we have built beautiful memories that I will never forget. Imani, I am so proud of you, and I know you will continue to do amazing things in life and influence so many people around you while doing so. I’ll love you always. ❤️

Brother/Flower Guy/Engagement Photographer
From the very beginning, I’ve walked beside her—brother, protector, partner in crime, and closest confidant. From childhood giggles to late-night heart-to-hearts, I’ve lived every chapter of her story. And today, I have the honor of lighting the way for her next: the one where love takes center stage. But I am no ordinary flower boy. I come bearing petals and purpose. Each blossom I scatter is a memory, a blessing, a soft echo of everything we’ve shared. With a heart full of pride and eyes brimming with joy, I lead the way not just with flowers, but with love. This is more than a walk down the aisle—it’s a magical procession for the woman I’ve always admired. And I, her brother, her lifelong shadow and biggest fan, will be the first to mark her path to forever.

I first met Aaron at the gym in 2020, and what started as casual encounters soon turned into a solid gym partnership. Over time, that bond grew into something even greater—brotherhood. Through the past five years, Aaron has been more than just a workout partner; he’s been a constant source of motivation and support, pushing me to grow not only in the gym but in life as well. His loyalty, encouragement, and friendship have made a lasting impact, and I couldn’t be prouder to stand by him on his big day.

I met Aaron at the gym in probably the worst way possible, by almost dropping a dumbbell on his foot after doing an incline press. What started as a workout partnership turned into an incredible friendship over the past six years filled with countless conversations about life, goals, and growth. I’m grateful for the bond we’ve built and couldn’t be more excited to celebrate your union with Imani!

Today, we celebrate the union of two beautiful souls, Aaron and Imani. I met Aaron a couple of years ago at the gym — we’d been working out in the same space for a while but had never really spoken. Once we finally connected, we became instant friends. Aaron is one of the most trustworthy and honorable men I know. He’s always there when you need him, not just for me, but for all his friends. He’s the kind of man you can rely on without question, and I’m truly blessed to call him my friend. There aren’t many men I look at and think, I could really learn something from this guy, but Aaron is definitely one of them. Imani is lucky — and so is he. Wishing them a lifetime of love, strength, and unshakable friendship.

I met at Aaron at the gym. I noticed that he had a fleur-de-lis tattoo. Being from Louisiana, I had to strike up conversation and it was an instant friendship. After knowing Aaron for a little over eight years, I’m glad to see the growth that he has gone through from then to now. Never stop growing bro.

I met my boy Aaron at the gym, where we kept running into each other during our workouts. At first, it was just a nod of acknowledgment, but over time, we started chatting between sets, exchanging fitness tips, and pushing each other to hit new personal bests. What started as gym banter turned into real conversations about life, goals, and everything in between. Before we knew it, we were hanging out outside the gym, supporting each other through challenges, and building a solid friendship. Now, Aaron isn’t just my gym buddy—he’s def a brother!
