We're getting married!

A mutual friend introduced Aaron and Imani while they were sophomores at Virginia State, and they became friends from there. Imani was very friendly and open, while Aaron was more chill and laid back. They continued to be friends throughout college and remained friends once they graduated. One year came where they started talking more than often. The more they conversed about religion, career, and life goals, the more they realized this could be something special.

Aaron and Imani's families came together for Imani's bodybuilding show and Aaron set up a dinner for after the show. Everyone mingled and enjoyed their dinner at the restaurant. Once everyone was finishing up Aaron stated that he had a special dessert for Imani. Imani seemed confused because they were at Carrabba's, and they have their normal desserts. The waiter brought out a bag of desserts for Imani and told her that it will be on the house, and she should check the desserts to see if they were to her liking. When she checked the bag of desserts there were three boxes. The top 2 boxes had desserts in them, so she sat those on the table. When she looked in the bag at the last box, she realized that it had a ring box inside of it. She turned to him as he got down on one knee and he asked her to marry him. She said, "Of course I will!". We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at the beach!
