Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early so you can comfortably park, find your seat, & settle in.

What if I cannot make the event?

Answer

If you cannot be with us for our special day, we encourage you to call our Google Voice number to record a message of well wishes! The number is: (470) 391-4869‬

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we please ask that only the individuals listed on the invitation attend the event.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids - however, this event will be an adult-only event. With an exception made for the bridal party.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Our ceremony will be "unplugged" meaning no photography during the ceremony. However, feel free to take as many pictures as you like during the reception! The couple will have disposable cameras throughout the venue for guests to use. We want all the moments to be captured!! We will also be providing a Google photos album where guests can upload their personal pictures from the night.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. The bride & groom encourage a muted color palette when picking out your attire. The bridal party will be wearing a variety of blushes & dusty pinks. Do keep in mind that the downtown streets are cobblestone, so you may want to leave your stilettos at home.

Will you be accommodating dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will be serving charcuterie during cocktail hour & tacos for dinner. If you have a dietary restriction, please let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate your needs accordingly.

Will there be alcohol at the event?

Answer

A selection of beer & wine will be available during cocktail hour & the reception. It will be a limited open bar.

What if I've had a few by the reception's end and shouldn't drive?

Answer

Our #1 priority is having our guests avoid unsafe situations. Since we will be having an open bar, we ask that you please know your limits. However, mistakes happen! If this is the case, we suggest calling an Uber or Lyft to make it back to your destination safely.

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! Feel free to go to the travel page for more details about our blocks at Embassy Suites, Aloft, and Best Western.

Is there transportation to & from the hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately, the hotels we chose do not provide shuttle transportation. There is some paid parking near the venue, but if you plan on drinking, we encourage you to use an uber or lyft.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entire event will take place inside. The venue is however located on the Cape Fear riverfront & we hope our guests enjoy the brisk February air for some pictures - just be sure to be back in the venue in time for dinner!
