Alyssa and I met at our CrossFit gym. We both had crushes on each other. After days of working out next to each other, I built up the courage and talked to her. Our first night out we spent it immersed in conversation about everything and anything (if you know either of us, you know that we both LOVE to talk). From that night on, we were inseparable--we quickly knew that we had found what we had been looking for in a partner. We happily intwined our lives, bringing our dogs together and buying a home together. We don’t know what life’s journey has in store for us but we know that we’ll do it together as a team.

Tyler and I went on an amazing cruise in April 2019 --seeing the Mediterranean, Aegean, Almafi Coast and multiple locations in Greece! Considering this was a trip of a lifetime, I had a slight inclination that Tyler had planned to pop the question. The trip was a ten day cruise and he defintely kept me on my toes--dropping hints and even knealing in front of me at times (if you know Tyler than you know he loves The Office and was pulling a Jim). After enduring this antipation for EIGHT days, we arrived in Santorini. It was a Sunday and unbeknowst to us it was Greek Orthodox Easter. We visited the gorgeous village of Oia, hearing the excitement of all the Easter celebrations. Oia is a village situated on top of an impressive cliff overlooking a Volcanic Caldera--insanely stunning. We walked through the town hand in hand, stopping often to soak in the picturesque beauty of it all! On one especially beautiful over-look, I noticed Tyler going to one knee. I was so excited that I jumped on him and forced him to two knees. I held him so tight that he couldn't get his knee up. He slowly pulled an engagement ring out of his pocket. I barely let him get the question out before I responded, yelling "Yes, Yes, Yes" over and over again! We excitedly stopped at the first restaurant we found and celebrated with beverages--we sat overlooking the Aegean Sea. It was the most perfect day!
