FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 31st so we can finalize our plans and seating. You can submit your RSVP directly on our website.

Question

How Do Guests RSVP?

Answer

Guests can RSVP directly through our wedding website. Simply enter your name, and your invitation will appear. If you were given a plus one or are attending as part of a family, you’ll be able to RSVP for everyone in your party at the same time.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before the ceremony so everyone has time to get seated before it begins.

Question

What is the full address of the wedding venue?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at The Brim, located at 14150 NW Walker Rd, Kansas City, MO 64163.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! There will be plenty of parking available on site, though we encourage guests to carpool when possible.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by an indoor reception. We recommend dressing for the weather to stay comfortable.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail/semi-formal. Think suits and ties, or dress shirts with dress pants for men, and cocktail dresses or elegant jumpsuits for women. If you would like to dress within our color scheme, we kindly ask that you choose earthy tones—such as greens, blues, or neutrals.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, this will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

May guests take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

No—our ceremony will be unplugged, and we kindly ask guests to remain fully present in the moment. Please keep phones and cameras put away during the ceremony, as they can be distracting and may block the view for others. We’ve hired a wonderful team of photographers to capture everything and will happily share the photos afterward!

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar during the reception. If you plan to enjoy a drink, we kindly ask that you do so responsibly and arrange transportation ahead of time, whether that means carpooling or planning a ride. Please note that cars cannot be left at the venue after the reception, so we encourage guests to plan accordingly.

Question

Can I post photos on social media?

Answer

Of course! Feel free to share the fun using our hashtag #DecadeToEwing
