Emma is Mya's cousin on her mother's side and was her first friend! Emma is 1 year older than Mya and the two grew up together in Canberra, Australia and share the fondest memories of causing havoc, laughing, making up dances to the Spice Girls, quoting pop culture films and wearing matching dresses at Christmas. At first glance Emma may seem like a sweet angel but behind that innocent demeanor is a badass detective and OFFICER OF THE LAW. Mya feels so lucky to have Emma in her life and can't imagine not having her to stand by her side and share this special day with her.
Ely Anderson
Best Man
Ely is Chris's cousin on his father's side. They've grown very close since the days the family gathered at Grandma Anderson's house for all family occasions in Santa Rosa, CA. Chris & Ely bonded over their love of sports & were always throwing the football around, shooting some hoops, or kicking a ball in Grandma's backyard. Chris was bigger than Ely growing up and always had the advantage when the two would wrestle, along with their cousins. Ely sprouted up to be the giant he is today in high school & Chris would never win another wrestling match again. Ely lives in Nashville, TN, where he recently moved from San Francisco, CA, to further his career. You'll never miss Ely as he captures the room as soon as he walks in. Chris & Mya love when Ely comes to visit, it's always an adventure!
Elizabeth Anderson
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth aka Lizzy (pictured on the right) is Chris's younger sister and only sibling. The first night Mya met Lizzy they went to the OC Fair and warmed to each other immediately. Mya & Lizzy love drinking champagne, doing puzzles, all things Disney and laughing together. In the summer they love spending their weekends hanging in the pool and tanning. Lizzy has already been an incredible bridesmaid and has been Mya's personal photographer at dress appointments and was with Mya when she said yes to the dress! Mya is so excited to have Lizzy in her bridal party and is looking forward to having Lizzy as her sister in law.
Tamar Dalton
Groomsman
Tamar is Mya's older brother and he resides in Sydney, Australia with his beautiful girlfriend Chiaki. Tamar & Mya grew up in Canberra, Australia and used to spend their weekends playing sport, riding bikes, being yelled at by their grandfather (lovingly, of course!) and swimming in the pool in Summer. When Chris first met Tamar, they hit it off immediately, discussing their favorite sports, and which each other played growing up. Tamar has visited Mya and Chris in Los Angeles on a couple of different occasions and they've always had a blast together! Chris and Mya are really excited to have Tamar and Chiaki join them for their special day.
Zoe Travis
Bridesmaid
Zoe is Mya's BFF and was her first real friend in Los Angeles. The two met in an Improv class at UCB in 2016 and quickly bonded over their shared love of female comedians, tv series, restaurants and style. Zoe & Mya were once neighbors and now live down the street from each other. Zoe has always been there for Mya especially through trying times and knows how to remedy any situation by post-mating a pint of Jeni's Ice Cream or cracking a pun-ny joke. Zoe & Mya have taken many fun trips together to Joshua Tree, Carmel-by-the-sea, San Francisco, Zoe's hometown of Brooklyn, NY and London. Mya would describe Zoe as hilarious, smart, generous, caring and just an all-round wonderful friend. They are both quick-witted Gemini's and can spend hours laughing and commentating on The Bachelor.
Justin Hartnell
Groomsman
Justin is Chris's Best Friend. The two met at Pop Warner Football as goofy eighth graders. Chris took a liking to Justin's clown-like spirit and the two enjoyed joking around together. When they were teenagers, Chris & Justin used to hang out with their friends, play video games and run around town causing a ruckus. Ironically, in 2005, the two were named "Hometown Heroes" (this is a true story) in the Press-Telegram, after saving a policeman from a burning car around the corner of a Ralphs grocery store. One of Chris's most fond memories of Justin is when Justin and his father, Usher, took him to his first concert: System of A Down. Chris' mom Cathy considers Justin to be her second son.
Lola Jane
Dog of Honor
Mya adopted Lola from the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society 2 weeks after meeting Chris in May 2017. Lola is a sassy, sweet and adorable Shih Tzu (65%), Pekingese (25%) and Australian Shepherd (10%) mix. One of the reasons Chris and Mya chose their venue was because Lola was able to run around off leash and had the best time prancing through the grass. It wouldn't be a Chris & Mya wedding without their baby by their side.
