Question
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is garden cocktail attire. That includes cocktail or sundresses, dressy jumpsuits or floral prints, suits or a button up and slacks, but please let your personality shine! We welcome summery colors like pastels, coral, turquoise, flowery prints, and shades of tan or grey. For the ladies, wedges or flats are the perfect shoe as the ceremony will be held on grass :)

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will start at 6pm. We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the evening started as scheduled!

What should I do if I can't make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly. If an emergency arises at the last minute, we understand! If you are able, please email us at mx2wedding2023@gmail.com.

What will the weather be like this time of year?
Answer
Virginia weather is beautiful in late April/early May! Expect highs around 70F and lows around 41F with plenty of blossoming flowers and greenery. While we pray for clear and sunny skies, rain is certainly a possibility, so be sure to pack an umbrella!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors on a grassy lawn so be sure to pack sunglasses and sunscreen! The reception will be held indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the outdoor patio to partake in cocktail hour and fun games!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Answer
Parking is certainly free! There will be limited parking at the venue site which will be reserved for the Bridal Party; however, you may park at the Battleground Athletic Complex (1323 Hanover St, Fredericksburg VA 22401) and walk across the street to the venue site!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
Ceremony: We invite you to be fully present at the ceremony and turn off all cell phones and cameras. We promise to share the amazing photos taken by our photographer Avery! Cocktail Hour/Reception: Feel free to snap away! At this time, we encourage guests to take any/all pictures and post onto your social media channels with the wedding hashtag #mx2wedding2023 so we can keep track of all of your pictures! Answer
We love all kiddos and the joy they bring to the party! We will be able to accommodate all kiddos listed on your invitation.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to budget, dining, and space limits, our wedding is strictly invitation only, we can only accommodate those listed. We hope you will still be able to celebrate with us!
