We're gettin' hitched!

What can we say? It was a modern love story; one St. Patrick's Day swipe on Tinder and the Adam Sandler quotes took off. After a couple of months of banter, we went on our first date in the Mission District of San Francisco. With very different work schedules, Maria living in Pinole and William living in Daly City, we would travel on Bart to meet each other in SF for Monday night dates for the next couple of years (and William's occasional trip to Pinole through brutal traffic just to see Maria for a night). Once Covid hit, we were able to spend much more time together, and it ultimately lead us to take the next step to move into a place of our own. William found a dreamy little spot just outside of Golden Gate Park where we now take lots of walks together whenever we want and stuff our faces with delicious food and desserts (traditionally, dessert first for us to make sure we have room). I very casually proposed to William while he was driving us to pick-up my car as we reflected on our first international trip together. 2 years later, he got to have his moment and proposed in a suit with candles lit around the bedroom after calling me back there to help with chicken nuggets still in my hand. Now we get to share this special milestone in our relationship with all of you, and we couldn't be happier!
