We're getting married

Our story is pretty simple, from a matcha latte to marriage. We first met in June 2021 during one of Singapore's pandemic lockdowns. Both of us were working in Singapore and trying to stay sane while trapped on a small, hot and humid tropical island. In this lockdown period, restaurants were open but only for take away and groups were limited to 2 persons. We met at a trendy coffee spot in Bugis and took a stroll in the 90 degree weather and as they say, the rest history! 우리 이야기는 꽤 간단해요. 말차 라떼에서 결혼까지 이어진 이야기죠. 우리는 처음 만난 건 2021년 6월, 싱가포르의 대유행로 인한 극도로 제한된 상황 속에서였어요. 싱가포르에서 일하면서 작은, 더운, 습한 열대 섬에서 균형을 유지하려 애썼답니다. 이 때는 레스토랑은 포장만 가능하고 모임은 최대 2인으로 제한되었어요. 우리는 부기스에 위치한 유행하는 커피 맛집에서 만났고, 90도의 날씨 속에서 산책을 했어요. 그리고 말하자면, 나머지는 역사가 되었어요!

After living outside the US for some time, by July, we decided it was time for a vacation! Our destination was Breckenridge, Colorado. On Fourth of July, we hiked up the McCullough Gulch Trail and at the top of the hike, Michael asked, “would you do this for the rest of your life?” and got down on his knees. What’s really amazing is, another group of hikers took a picture of Michael getting down on his knees and airdropped the pictures to us. The picture can be found in the Gallery section of this website. 미국 외에서 오랜 시간을 보낸 후, 7월에 우리는 휴가를 가기로 결정했어요! 우리의 목적지는 콜로라도 주 브레켄리지였습니다. 2022년 7월 4일, 우리는 McCullough Gulch Trail을 하이킹했고 정상에서 마이클이 "평생 나와 함께 할래?"라고 물으며 무릎을 꿇었습니다. 정말 놀라운 것은 다른 등산객 그룹이 마이클이 무릎을 꿇고 있는 사진을 찍어 우리에게 에어드롭 해주었다는 것입니다. 사진은 이 웹사이트의 포토 갤러리 섹션에서 찾을 수 있습니다.

We are well aware of the time commitment and investment for those coming from out-of-town. We are especially thankful that you will be able to join us and please know that we really appreciate it.
