A fellow CarQueenz member, Paige and Ruth met at Ignition 2017 at Canterbury Park. They became friends right away as they shared a love for not only cars but Mustangs and hard work. Phil met Paige through one of the many CarQueenz events. They also became friends through their love of Mustangs. Paige use to own a one of a kind 2008 Ford Mustang GT Sherrod. Her baby was known for it's 3M wrap that is psychedelic and reflective at night. Today Paige owns a 2015 Ford Mustang GT with a Roush Stage 3 Supercharger on it. Paige helped Phil plan his proposal to Ruth at her parent's house in Florida. Paige was a witness to the proposal.
Dylan Melancon

Dylan is Ruth's son. Phil met Dylan the night of the BBQ at Ruth's townhouse. But he really got to know Dylan more over the years as Phil and Ruth had their many adventures. Eventually, Dylan came back home to Phil and Ruth's house in Prior Lake, making it a blended family.
Stacy Mooney
Maid of Honor
Ruth met Stacy for the first time on Survivor Rally 2020. Stacy and Jeff drove a Mustang in the rally for 2020. In that Mustang, they won the Most Points Trophy. Through getting to know Stacy more on the rally, Ruth became close friends with her. This friendship grew even closer when Ruth was diagnosed with cancer in November 2020. Stacy helped Ruth go through all the emotional stages of being diagnosed and dealing with the disease as she had been through it herself.
Jeff Jones
Best Man
Phil met Jeff for the first time when Jeff and Stacy showed up with their Mustang to have Phil install the Survivor Rally 2020 livery kit on the vehicle. In that Mustang, they won the Most Points Trophy for Survivor Rally 2020. Phil and Jeff took turns being the lead vehicle each day during the rally. Their competitive nature and fun attitude brought Jeff and Phil close together in friendship. Jeff and Stacy have truly became some of Ruth and Phil's closest friends.... Do you hear the rumble coming up behind you, Jeff? LOL

Ruth met Dez for the first time at Dave Ellingson's house as they were going to the Renaissance Festival together. Ruth and Dez hit it off immediately as they have similar personalities and backgrounds. Plus they both love cars/trucks, Ren Fest, board games and so much more.

Phil met Dave working at SRC in Chaska. Dave watched Phil send electricity through his cheek and ear by accident while seeing if his welder had gas flow and about died laughing. Through alot of banter and joking at work Dave and Phil became friends. When Phil was looking for a place to live Dave offered him a room for rent. Phil lived with Dave a couple years. Phil met Ruth and Belle and they would come around the house to hang out. Dave had attended a couple Carqueenz shows but it wasnt till after Phil and Ruth got together that he bought his Blue Nissan 350z that he calls Cali (Dave is from California). Dave is now a frequent attendee at a good portion of the Carqueenz shows and is a great friend to Phil and Ruth.
Racheal Glancy

A fellow CarQueenz member, Ruth met Racheal at the very first car show Ruth attended in Spring 2017. Ruth met up with the CarQueenz at a Gander Mountain near the car show. Then Ruth followed the CarQueenz into the show & parked near them. When Ruth got out of Belle, Racheal was right there to greet Ruth since her Black 2014 Ford Mustang was parked a few cars down. Ruth ended up walking around that car show with Racheal. That day began a friendship that continues still today. Since that first day with Racheal, she has added several things to her engine bay on her Mustang. This has won her best engine bay several times at car shows. The tribute to the American Flag is awesome. It reminds me every time I see it of the men and women who have given their lives for our freedom.
Jeff Glancy

Jeff is a fellow CarQueenz Supporter and married to Racheal. Jeff is also known as BTS (Big Tall Sexy). Racheal calls him this pet name all the time. But it has grown to where a lot of the CarQueenz call him this. Jeff, like Phil, is at almost every single CarQueenz event volunteering his time to help make our events successful. You can usually find both Jeff and Phil directing traffic, helping with parking and being our muscle for our events. Most recently, Jeff has purchased his own Ford Mustang GT 5.0. So now Racheal and Jeff have his and hers too.
Carrie Callison

A fellow CarQueenz member, Ruth met Carrie at a car show. Over the years, Ruth and Carrie became friends through their love of cars and similar activities. Carrie is the one who got Ruth into Autocross. The two of them were the only two CarQueenz to do Autocross at Street Machines 2017. Ruth has always said that if she had to buy a 4 door car, she would get what Carrie owns, a 2017 Mystic Green Metallic Chevy SS. Their passion for their cars has grown even more just like their friendship.
Jesse Hopper

A fellow CarQueenz member and car enthusiast, Jesse got to know Ruth and Phil for the first time at Street Machines 2017 when he was here visiting from Colorado. Eventually, Jesse moved to Minnesota and became an active member of the car scene in the Twin Cities as he worked for MAPerformance. Even though he currently does not work for MAP, he is still an active member in the car community with his Hot Lava 2014 Scion FRS (It's Orange). Ruth and Phil became friends with Jesse through their love of cars. But this friendship has grown more as they got to know each other as a person too. The winter of 2018/2019, Jesse became a regular at Game Night at Ruth and Phil's house.

A fellow Carqueenz member, Ruth met Tina for the first time at a Perkins before a car show in 2017. Tina had actually friend requested Ruth through Facebook a few weeks prior to this show. The two had several conversations about life and cars. Once meeting in person, their friendship become closer. Ruth even helped Tina go buy her Black 2005 Ford Mustang GT in 2017.
Nathan Latawiec

A fellow CarQueenz member, Nathan got to know Phil & Ruth through several car shows in which Nathan was seen in 2 different cars. Nathan actually owns 3 cars. During the summer, he can be seen in his 2014 Ford Mustang GT with Kannonball decals on it. During the winter, Nathan drives a Performance Blue Ford Focus ST. Nathan is also wonderful photographer. Several of the pictures of Belle and Tang on our photo page is his artwork. As Ruth & Phil got to know Nathan more & more, their friendship has grown over the years. The winter of 2018/2019, Nathan became a regular at Game Night at Ruth & Phil's house. Nathan is also the official Photographer for Survivor Rally. Jordan is Phil's daughter. Ruth met Jordan through CarQueenz. Ruth and Jordan attended several events together along with her father, Phil. Eventually, Jordan moved in with Ruth into her townhouse. Then she moved into Phil and Ruth's home in Prior Lake, making it a blended family.
Jai Lynn Riddell

Jai Lynn is Phil's granddaughter. She joined the blended family on September 28, 2018. Both Ruth and Phil got to be apart of her birth. Plus they have been able to watch her grow as she did live with her mom Jordan in Ruth and Phil's house.
Sheina Long

Ruth and Phil met Sheina through Amanda and Marty at one of their game nights they host at their home in 2019. Amanda had asked if she could bring a friend along. Ruth and Phil are always open to meeting new people, so they said yes. Sheina and Trevor, her husband, had a fun, good night playing board games with everyone. They all hit it off so well, that Trevor and Sheina returned again for more game nights, bbqs, bonfires, etc. Sheina and Ruth became good friends bonding over life experiences.
Cindy McCrary
Mother of the Groom
Cindy is Phil's mom. She lives in Florida. Phil and his mom have had a very close relationship throughout the years. Ruth met Ms. Cindy for the first time over Thanksgiving 2018 although they had talked on the phone prior a few times. Ruth was greeted with open arms when she arrived in Florida for that Thanksgiving. Over that week, she was able to get to know Ms. Cindy more. Ruth enjoyed spending family time with her future mother-in-law.
Judith Bono
Mother of the Bride
Judith is Ruth's mother. She lives in New Orleans, LA. Judith worked in business until Ruth was about 11 years old. Then Judith went back to school to get her degree in Dental Hygiene. While Judith was in college, Ruth got to go with her to class. One of Judith's professors actually let Ruth take the exams in his class along with all the other college students. But Ruth's fondest memories with her mother were singing in choir and running the craft show every year in October. Phil has not gotten to meet Mrs. Judith in person yet. But they have spoken on the phone over the past few years.
Nash Bono
Step-Father of the Bride
Nash is Ruth's step-father. He lives in New Orleans. Nash became apart of Ruth and Judith's lives through choir at church. Ruth sang in the choir for the late Sunday mass at their church in Louisiana. On Sundays, when Nash had to work, he would attend this same mass and join in with the choir. Eventually Nash got to know Judith more and the two were married in October 2009. Phil has not had the chance to meet Mr. Nash yet either even though he has talked to him several times on the phone over the past few years. Nash is a car enthusiast himself. Nash, his best friend Uncle Jack along with Ruth's son, Dylan and Nash's son Patrick restored a 1923 Franklin from a bunch of miscellaneous parts on the ground in a garage to a thing of beauty.
John Asbell
Father of the Bride
John is Ruth's father. He lives in Texas. John was in the military for over 30 years. He served proudly in the US Navy. After retiring from the military he continued to work as a civilian on the same military planes. Eventually he ended up retiring from the civilian job too. John also loves fishing. Ruth's fondest memories of her father are in the boat fishing with him early in the morning. Phil got to meet John for the first time on their trip to Kansas City in 2018 for John's 60th birthday. Phil enjoyed visiting with Ruth's dad and step mom. Even though Phil got stopped for not wearing a seat belt and got a ticket in Kansas City.
Pam Asbell
Step-Mother of the Bride
Pam is Ruth's step-mother. She lives in Texas too. Ruth met Pam for the first time on a trip to Kansas City with her father when she was about 12 or 13 years old. Eventually, Pam married Ruth's father, John in September 1991. Phil got to meet Pam the same weekend he met John, when Ruth and Phil went to Kansas City for John's 60th birthday.

Ruth and Phil met Ace and his wife Diane through Southwest Metro Mustang Club (now known as NorthStar Mustang Club). Phil and Ace bonded over their love of cars. While Ruth and Diane bonded over cars, gardening and so much more. They all frequent going over the others' house for bonfires, bbqs, game nights, etc. Ruth and Phil even got to enjoy Sukkot with Ace and Diane.
Marty Seutter

A fellow CaQueenz Supporter and car enthusiast, Ruth and Phil met Marty through their love of cars. Marty and Amanda were married in the winter of 2018/2019, Marty became a regular at Game Night at Ruth and Phil's house. Their friendship grew to more than just fellow car enthusiasts through the Game Night events. Marty and Amanda won the Track Event trophy during Survivor Rally 2020 in his Audi.

A fellow CarQueenz member, both Ruth and Phil met Amanda through their love of cars. Their friendships have grown into more than just car enthusiasts over the years. The winter of 2018/2019, Amanda became a regular at Game Night at Ruth and Phil's house.
Shelly Podany

Ruth met Shelly at her first MN car event, a MNFE Fall Meet Up at Lac Lavon Park in 2016. Shelly is the founder of CarQueenz, an all female car enthusiasts group. Over the last 5 years, Ruth and Shelly no only became friends but Ruth also was an admin for CarQueenz for a few years before stepping down to focus on Survivor Rally and other life events. In 2021, Shelly began Rebel Photography doing pictures at car events which was a hobby for her originally. Josh Dvorak

A fellow car enthusiast, both Ruth and Phil met Josh through MNCEC. Over the years, Josh began filming videos for MNCEC and for others at the local car events in Minnesota. John Steiner

John is a mustang stalker! Just kidding.... sort of! Ruth became friends with John through Facebook. He was fairly new to the MN car community and began friending mustang owners on the social media app. Since he had friended several of Ruth's car friends, she accepted his request after talking to Tina about him. Eventually, Ruth and John struck up a conversation about Mustangs which led to the knowledge that John was a chaplain at the local Veteran's home. Ruth and Phil decided to meet John in person. So they had dinner with him at a local Tex-Mex restaurant. It became official that due to their love of cars, it was meant to be that John would Officiate their wedding. Their friendship has continued since that dinner and grown closer.
