What's the Dress Code?

Answer

We want everyone to be comfortable but please be respectful that this is a wedding. The wedding party will be dressed in cocktail attire and dress clothes. So we recommend cocktail casual. Note: The Reception will take place on Grass so Think about Foot Wear accordingly.

Can I Bring a Date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Will there be Alcohol at the Reception?

Answer

We will not be providing alcohol at the reception. If you would like an alcoholic drink, you are more than welcome to bring your own. Please be responsible and Don't Drink and Drive.

Is there Transportation to/from the Hotels for the Service and Reception?

Answer

At this moment in time, there is not. We actually welcome you to bring your car as we will be having a beautiful car cruise from the wedding ceremony to the reception site.

Do I have to RSVP? How do I RSVP and by What Date?

Answer

Yes!!! Please RSVP. This helps us figure out how much food we need to purchase. You can RSVP in the mail or online. The Due Date is June 1, 2021.

Can I take Pictures during the Ceremony/Reception and Post them on Social Media?

Answer

Ruth and Phil welcome everyone to take pictures during the Ceremony and Reception. Just please be Respectful of others and the fact this is a Wedding. However, while you are taking pictures, please be courteous of our photographers. Please refrain from stepping in front of a photographer or using too much flash, as these can disrupt the professional photographs. For posting to Social Media, we ask you post after the Wedding and Reception have concluded, as we want you to be engaged and having fun in our Wedding and Reception. When you post please use the hash tag #TheMustangCoupleStory. (Please use your best discretion to not interrupt the ceremony.)

What Food will be Served?

Answer

The Reception will be Catered by Russell's On the Lake and the menu will be buffet style. The options on the buffet will be a combination of Minnesota and New Orleans flavors: Apple Cinnamon Pork Tenderloin Cajun Chicken Breast with a Spinach Artichoke Sauce Salmon Fillet with a Dill Cream Aged Cheddar Au Gratin Potatoes Corn Maque Choux Cajun Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya Caesar Salad Dinner Rolls with Butter

Is the Ceremony/Reception taking place Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Both the Ceremony and the Reception will be taking place Outdoors.

Where should I park for the Wedding Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

Ceremony: Park in the Lakeside Park parking lot. Cost is $5/vehicle. Reception: Parking will be in front and on side of the house in the yard.
