Andrew and Hilary are an online success story. Andrew was Hilary's one and only Bumble match. That is likely due to a lazy programmer at Bumble who rounded up Andrew's age, making him fit Hilary's strict age limitations. If it was not for that, we would not be here today! (Thanks Bumble). They matched in December of 2019, and after chatting for a few weeks over the holidays met up for a very awkward first date. But they decided to give love a chance, but they finally found the chemistry on their third date.

With just a few months of dating in the real world, their relationship was put to the test with the arrival of COVID-19 in Chicago on Andrew's birthday, Friday, the 13th. These two hyper extroverts suddenly only had each other and found joy in the mundane, with lots of puzzles and bike rides. As the quarantine dragged on, they continued to intentionally get to know each other and soon felt like they had had been together forever. A phenomenon they came to call the COVID multiplier. Through the laughter, tears, and stress of it all, they began falling in love.

It didn't take long to learn Andrew and Hilary wanted to be together forever. So after lying to Hilary for months, Andrew pulled off the perfect proposal on a private rooftop near downtown Chicago. With the skyline framed in the background, Andrew dropped down on one knee and said, "Hilary Joy, my love, will you marry me." And they both said yes to forever.
