Emma and Parker first met during their college years at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. While they initially knew of each other through their involvement in greek life, their paths didn't truly cross until the fall of 2020. After the height of COVID, their friend groups began hosting casual porch hangouts and "dages" (day-drinking parties), bringing everyone a little closer together. It was during these laid-back afternoons & evenings that Emma and Parker finally got the chance to really connect - and from that point on, they were inseparable. The two officially started dating in December 2020. After graduation, they took the next step in their relationship by renting their first apartment together in the Pittsburgh area, where they began building a life full of love. Along the way, they adopted two cats - Ms. Bookie and Nugget - who quickly became beloved members of the family and a source of endless joy (and antics). The two since then have supported each other through CAD and Nursing school, traveled through the UK & Europe, house hunted, and started to build a beautiful life together. On October 12th, 2024, Parker proposed at Peek'n Peak Resort in Clymer, NY, surrounded by their beloved family. Despite Emma's well-earned reputation for catching onto surprises, Parker somehow managed to keep this one a secret, though he admits it was not easy! Now, they are counting down the days to say "I do," excited to celebrate the next chapter with the people that they love the most! They cannot wait for a lifetime of shared memories, new adventures, building a family and growing old together - with a little help from Ms. Bookie and Nugget, of course.
