Will you reschedule?

The wedding is ON! August 14th 2021.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Technically RSVP's are closed as of July 14th. If you have a change of plans please e-mail Shelby! If we don't hear from you by July 14th we'll assume it's a no!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please! But we want you to feel comfortable! The event will span from the barn to the surrounding grounds (grass!) so plan shoes/heels accordingly!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” or has plus 1 information then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you. Our venue has a strict cap on guest count!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

For right now we're encouraging no kiddos because we're at capacity with our invite list for the venue! If this changes (we'll know as people rsvp) we will send an update to parents!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a couple hotel room blocks, if you look at the "Travel!" section of the website there are some other hotel recommendations in the Portland and Freeport area. VRBO and Airbnb have a lot of great options too, however, we recommend booking quickly as we'll be in the middle of the wedding season this summer and options are already dwindling down!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please let us know if you have a food allergy or special requests and we'll do our best to accommodate!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Plenty! There's a large parking area which can easily fit 100 cars. The guest parking area is down a pathway from the barn and tented dining area and the main drive is for guest drop-offs. You are invited to leave your cars there overnight if you've had a couple beverages, please come back to pick up your vehicle first thing the next morning!!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Please carpool or Uber/Lyft/Rideshare to the venue, or you can drive yourself there and park at the venue. If you plan on having a few drinks you can leave your car at the parking lot at the venue overnight and pick it up the next morning. There WILL BE 4 SCHOOL BUSES (yay!) picking us up at the Caswell Barn around 10:30PM, they will get dropped off in Portland at the Holiday Inn By the Bay. We will walk to the after-party from the Hotel drop.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Bar Crawl Thursday night starting at 8PM at Batson River Brewing in Portland Maine, heading to Three Dollar Deweys at 9:30 PM - 11PM.
