Meanwhile, Juan gathered all of their closest friends and family to be part of the surprise. When Muriel arrived, instead of a dinner table, she found Juan waiting for her on one knee, with "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt playing in the background. Juan was nervous—but full of love and certainty. And of course, Muriel said yes. The proposal was followed by a surprise engagement party, filled with laughter, happy tears, and so much love. It was truly the beginning of our forever.
